  • Nuestra hermosa casa, Three Bears IN THE VALLEY, está ubicada en las montañas del hermoso valle de Canaan en el Windwood Fly-In Resort. Rodeado de espectaculares vistas de las áreas de esquí de Timberline y Canaan Valley, las montañas en cascada y la hermosa Madre Naturaleza, nuestra extraordinaria casa y sus alrededores te quitarán el aliento y te aliviarán el estrés.



    Única en esta comunidad en la cima de la montaña, la pista de aterrizaje de 3000 x 40 pies, parcialmente visible desde nuestra casa, puede acomodar a la mayoría de los aviones y helicópteros pequeños y es una gran atracción para muchos entusiastas de los vuelos. El restaurante de estilo familiar de Amelia se encuentra a pocos pasos de nuestra casa en el edificio Windwood Resort. Cuenta con el mejor desayuno y los rollos de canela del valle, y también está abierto para el almuerzo y la cena, ¡es otra forma de relajarse en sus vacaciones especiales! (Consultar horarios, ya que cambian según la estación).



    Three Bears ofrece un plano de planta cómodo y abierto con hermosos pisos de cerezo brasileños en todas las áreas principales. Una cocina moderna totalmente equipada, un espacioso comedor, un acogedor espacio de estar con chimenea y una cómoda área de televisión harán de este un refugio familiar que deseará regresar también. La espaciosa cocina cuenta con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, pisos de linóleo genuino, encimeras de granito y una gran barra de desayuno ideal para el entretenimiento. Junto a la cocina hay una gran mesa de granja de estilo rústico de cuatro planchas con asientos de banco, lo suficientemente grande como para acomodar a seis personas cómodamente. Una chimenea de leña y una acogedora sala de estar con vistas espectaculares le esperan a su cuerpo cansado después de un día espectacular disfrutando del aire libre. Un área de entretenimiento completamente equipada con TV de pantalla plana, cable y reproductor de DVD lo espera en aquellos días que solo quiere estar dentro y relajarse.



    También en el primer piso encontrarás la sala "Spoke & Crank", una habitación pintoresca decorada con todo lo relacionado con el ciclismo (una pasión nuestra), ¡perfecta para los aficionados al ciclismo! La cama Queen Size Sleep Number es un regalo especial para los huesos doloridos, y hay mucho espacio de guardarropas para su equipaje, haciendo de esta habitación del primer piso una verdadera escapada. Un baño de tamaño completo con bañera / ducha también se encuentra en el primer piso al lado del dormitorio. El área de lavandería, ubicada junto a la entrada principal, le brindará opciones de limpieza fáciles durante su estadía.



    El segundo piso de nuestra casa consta de dos habitaciones amplias (totalmente alfombradas) y un encantador baño de tamaño completo. La sala "Whispering Water", el gran dormitorio principal, está situada en la parte delantera de la casa y permite vistas espectaculares de las montañas y las áreas de esquí de los alrededores. Los alojamientos en esta habitación son fabulosos, e incluyen una cama King Size Sleep, una amplia sala de estar para leer o relajarse y un televisor de pantalla plana. La sala "Great Black Bear", y el segundo dormitorio en esta planta, son realmente una delicia para los niños o huéspedes adicionales, con dos camas individuales y un sofá futón para relajarse. Un gran armario con juegos de mesa y otras cosas divertidas mantendrá a la familia ocupada si estar dentro es donde quieres estar.



    El área de la cubierta lateral tiene una relajante ba��era de hidromasaje privada (cuatro personas) con vistas a las montañas y una agradable área de descanso para un descanso relajante de la mañana o la noche. La cubierta delantera tiene una mesa de picnic con capacidad para ocho personas para esas agradables cenas al aire libre frente a las montañas.



    Nuestra casa es cómoda, acogedora, acogedora y está muy bien decorada con reliquias de interés local y de importancia histórica. La obra de arte original está hecha por artistas locales de WV y nuestra familia. Great stay at Three Bears

We had a great stay at Three Bears. The house is well stocked with all of the essentials, clean and well cared for. The hot tub was a big plus. We would return for another stay.

Love the property, and will probably explore some other properties next year, just to see the variety. However, Cirrus Drive is now our standard-bearer for what a Canaan Valley property should be. Everybody is great at Mountaintop (especially Frank).

The home was even nicer than I was expecting based on the photos. Very clean and spacious. The hot tub was definitely a favorite. I felt well informed throughout the booking process. Only thing that was a little difficult was figuring out how to pay the pet deposit.

The kitchen was well stocked. The furniture was very comfortable and well maintained. The team was wonderful. Upon arrival to the rental I called because I could not get cable. They sent someone to the house immediately. Two days later we lost the key to the rental. They were very kind and understanding and gave us another one with no questions asked. (We found the misplaced key that evening in the driveway).

We LOVED staying at this property.

We LOVED staying at this property. We were not necessarily looking for seclusion or “roughing it”. We live in WV. This was not our first trip to the area. The hot tub was great in January. The house was in a great location. Very close to ski resorts and not too far from Davis/Thomas. He house’s amenities all worked without any problems. It was large enough for my family of 6. We loved the sunrise from the master bedroom. The bear themed room was definitely a favorite. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house was very CLEAN!! The rugs in the mud room were perfect for snow/ski. We look forward to returning to this property. The online process was easy. The no contact check in/out was easy, too.

We loved the house itself and the hot tub.

We loved the house itself and the hot tub. We came back for a second stay because we love it so much. It is a blessing to sit in the hot tub, looking at sunset, the moon or the stars after a day cross-country skiing at nearby White Grass. The house has easy winter access (compared to some houses on steep hills in the Timberline). A big plus: the Wi-Fi is reasonably fast (for the countryside) and (most importantly) reliable! It did not go out during our two stays. I caught up on work here every evening. Easy to access WiFi as well (no issues). Named after the owner, her husband, and her daughter, the “Three Bears” is a tastefully decorated home with a lot of thoughtful touches. It was very clean and well maintained. We were here for Christmas in December 2020 and there was a beautiful Christmas tree by the fireplace; each bed had a plush bear. This time, in January, there was no tree but the giant teddy bear in the living room remains. From decorative plates to paintings, this place is decked out in the theme of black bears. Great insulation (important in winter months!). House is well stocked in terms of toilet papers, kitchen paper towels, and bath and face towels. The downstairs bedroom has a closet with hangers which come handy. The kitchen is well stocked. We cooked every meal here during our week-long stay and during our previous stay as well. Do bring (olive) oil for cooking. The highlights are the wooden panels throughout, the A-frame ceiling, and the big windows in the second floor main bedroom with an amazing view of the runway (this is a fly-in resort) and Timberline mountains in the distance. They’ve got Sleep Number beds, and every corner of the house shows love and the owners’ passions: old snow shoes, old cross-country skis, lamps made from parts of bicycles, books on bicycling and hiking, and more.

Something to note, the email system Airbnb uses (the one that is supposed to hide your actual email address) had trouble getting through to you guys. I just messaged directly and got it taken care, so it didn't bother me. I just wanted to point out in case you are having trouble communicating with other guests, their messages may not get through that way

Our second time staying at three bears.

Our second time staying at three bears. My wife likes it better than any other properties we have stayed at, and we have enjoyed all the properties. We always have a great time in the Canaan Valley and Mt. Top and Becky Ray is a big part of that. Becky Ray is great, your entire team is always very helpful.
