The house was spotless and very cozy. Far enough away from town to be peaceful but a very short drive to Crossbar Ranch and Turner Falls. The pond was a huge hit for the kids. They caughtt several bass, bulegill, and perch

Peaceful and Adventurous

We had a fantastic time with our family at this house. My son caught a MONSTER bass (catch and release) from the private pond on the property. We spent many hours fishing! We also spent the day at Turner Falls (10 min away) and were able to come back and relax and cool down in the house. Great location and beautiful land! We will definitely be back.

Serenity in the Woods

The location was beautiful. We enjoyed the front patio in the mornings, listening to the birds and sounds of the forest. Accommodations were clean and plenty of room for a family. Leon was an excellent host, very attentive. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

A Hidden Gem and a Fantastic Family Escape

I can’t say enough great things about our stay! This property is perfect for family getaways. The house is a great setup for big families and so clean and well-maintained. Our kids and grandkids really enjoyed the quiet and relaxing time around the outdoor fire areas and many adventure walks to the pond, we just loved having the room to run around and play on the expansive grounds! We had excellent communication with our host Leon, he’s so caring and responsive to anything we needed. He even offered to mail something sentimental that we left behind and would not accept reimbursement!! The sweet frozen treats were appreciated as well. We all agreed it was our best home rental and will be coming back again for some fun family memories. Thanks for all!!!

Perfectly Relaxing

What a wonderful stay we had as a family celebrating my daughters 21st birthday. The house was very inviting and had everything we needed to be very comfortable. The grounds were gorgeous, the fishing pond provided a lot of fun … several fish were caught ( and released), the porch chimenea provided a wonderful night of roasting marshmallows. Louis the host was exceptionally polite. We as a family will definitely be back. Thank you Steelman House.

Excellent Stay

The property was secluded, well maintained and welcoming. Very clean and cozy with everything you need in the kitchen and for outdoor grilling and fires. The beds were comfy and loved having the air conditioning in each room. The children were excited to ring the enormous “dinner” bell and play cornhole. Overall a very hospitable place. Thank you!
