"I really enjoyed staying at The Salty Mermaid. It is an absolutely beautiful location! It is a small hotel and doesn't seem fancy from the exterior, but it was clean and nice inside! It was probably one of the best locations you can get, as you walk right out on the beach, you have chairs and umbrellas provided, and you can walk to the shops and restaurants! I will definitely be going back! "

"I have no complaints at all about this property. It’s beach front. It’s affordable. It’s not a resort so don’t expect that. But we stayed in a room next door to my sister with her 3 kids and we never heard a peep out her or her 3 rambunctious boys. If you’re bougie keep scrolling and searching. If your are looking for a place to stay that’s decent, affordable and serves its purpose…this is it. Even has a cute lil kitchenette. We would stay again. ❤️ My biggest “issue” (if you can even call it...

"Property is dated but well kept and clean. Room was average size with excellent ocean view balcony. Mattress was pretty comfortable and linen was clean and soft. Pool small but clean with excellent access to beach! Enjoyed my stay over all."

"It was a wonderful stay at the beach. Loved the view from the balcony and the room was very clean. There is construction going on and the beach access closed, hopefully it won’t be like that next time."

"Such a cute hotel with nice rooms, love that we can sit outside our room. Bed was really comfy, fresh paint and very clean. Directly on the beach. Pool needs to be cleaned more often. At least once a day. The lights that light up at night over our doors is waaaaay to bright. I was in room 130 & i like sleeping in dark rooms. The light of outside made the room too bright. Also wasnt able to sit outside after 9pm because the light is sooo blinding. Its not cozy , that light shouldnt be right under...

"It's a little strange how the check-in and check-out process works. We arrived at night, I had already called earlier and the keys were in an old locker, we had the password, everything worked out. There was a leak in the refrigerator and it was fixed in the morning but no credit was offered for the inconvenience. Complimentary parking was great."
