"Very nice and cozy place. Wonderful breakfast and great hiking nearby. For a family of 4, the room was a bit crammed, but beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We weee there the last week in June and the room doesn’t have AC or a fan. One night was particularly warm even with the windows open. But the beauty of this place was spectacular!."

"The feel was very welcoming. It seems to be family owned and very nice. The breakfast was very good - fresh fruit and vegetables. An assortment of cookies, bread sweet treats, fruit drinks and if you wanted cooked eggs or an omelet. Just a very pleasant atmosphere. There was a veranda for outside breakfast dining or afternoon break. They even offered to do laundry when we asked. Highly recommend"

"Finding the hotel by car was little difficult as it is some distance down a lane from the town but should be easy with App Waze. There was lots of space around the hotel for safe parking. The reception was very friendly and helpful in this modern hotel, very fresh, spacious and clean. We had great evening meal in the restaurant and good breakfasts in their paved, enclosed patio area. Great location for visiting Llubliana and Bled and good jumping off point for Postojna. Highly recommend the...

"We’re doing a tour of Slovenia and this was our favourite accommodation the staff were so helpful, the accommodation was immaculate we chose to have the breakfast and it was the best we’ve had so far ! We were cycling and the hosts happily stored our bikes and gave us directions of where to go and swim in the river which we did and enjoyed immensely would love to stay again when we’re in the area 5 stars are not enough"

"I would not recommend this place. Receptionist met us when we arrived. Told us there was staffing issues at their hotel in Blef. Gave us the code to the front doorand a number to call for emergencies. We went to dinner, came back at 930pm. There was not lights on inside or outside the hotel. We had the only car in the parking lot. We made our way up to the front door and had to find out where the light switches were. We fell on the steps . DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE. "The apartment itself was excellent: very clean, spacious, and well laid out. The kitchen was well equipped for basic meals, with essentials like washing-up liquid, sponge, cloth, tea towel, plus tea, coffee, salt, and pepper provided. Unfortunately, the customer service did not match the quality of the accommodation. We arrived mid-afternoon to find reception unattended and never found staff there despite returning several times before it closed at 8pm. There were people in the staff area, but...

"We arrived at the hotel and everything looked fine at first—until we entered our room. Instead of proper beds, we found a broken air mattress and a small bent metal folding bed. The air conditioning wasn’t working either. The owner insisted that this room was an “upgrade.” After we complained, he moved us to another room, but that one didn’t even have a private bathroom or shower, which was not what we had booked. "Bathroom not clean - mold on tile, hair in drain, film on fixtures. AC non-functional. Otherwise adequate. Great location in old town Kranj with good proximity to Ljubljana airport. Was hard for cab to find, as seems to be located in a pedestrian/locals only zone. The retro-appliance vibe is cute, but the rooms are spartan and the common space furniture is dated and worn. We expected more for the price - not a good value. Looked better in the photos."

"Hotel Jezero is the grand old lady of Bohinj. It's been here a while and in some ways it shows (eg room doors are locked with proper keys, not electronically) but it's still a fabulous hotel. Step outside and you're right on the lake, location can't be beaten. The pool and sauna are lovely, the breakfast has a lot of choice and I really appreciated the seeds and fresh and dried fruit options. I got upgraded to a twin room and it was very spacious."

"You won’t want to leave, we loved the hotel, perfect location with view of the lake. Great shower, perfectly clean and maintained room. Lots of choice and tasty breakfast, the best granola. Great spa facilities which can be booked and used for 2 hours each day, which was lovely after a day walking around lake Bohinj."

"Staff, room, and restaurant were amazing. Great communication. Easy check in. Beautiful/comfortable room. All good was well labeled. They even made me a gluten free breakfast to go. I would highly recommend for people with food allergies."
