"We loved the Sauk River Cabin! Perfect base for hikes along the Mountain Loop Highway and in North Cascades NP. Great location near Darrington, which has groceries, restaurants, and gas.The cabin itself is wonderful. Very comfy, and the river-side amenities like the fire pit and the lounge chairs on the riverbank make it a great place to hang out between and after explorations.Highly recommended!"

"My wife and I traveled from Texas to stay at this cabin because of the beautiful photos, amenities, and location in the listing— and wow, it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed by a cozy, clean cabin stocked with everything we could possibly need.We spent most of our time down by the river, reading, making s’mores, and simply enjoying the peacefulness of being surrounded by nature. "This was an absolutely beautiful property. Great river access and close to some great hikes. The only complaint I had was the air conditioner is not strong and doesn’t cool the loft. The temperature was unseasonably high during our trip. Had to sleep on the couch the second night to be right in front of the air. But that’s just a minor personal inconvenience. Overall, great place! "

"First time visiting the PNW with my fiance and his sister. We were in AWE of the immersive atmosphere. You definitely will have neighbors but the location was lovely, just secluded enough in the North Cascades but not too far from anything you need (groceries, gas, etc.).Property management was kind and extremely responsive. We were a big fan of the hot tub! HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet forest/mountain retreat. We will certainly be back!"

"We had an absolutely great stay! Exactly what we needed for our weekend getaway. The view of the river is beautiful, hearing the sound of the river at night was so relaxing. The bed was comfortable, coffee maker worked great. There isn’t direct access to the river from the property, but there’s a community beach you can access just a bit down the road. "

"This place is top tier. We loved hearing the river from everywhere in the house. The house is well stocked with everything you might need. Nice linens, comfortable bed. The propane fire pit was a great addition due to the burn ban. The generator and battery were easy to operate and instructions were clear. Literally the only thing that might be improved is replacing the tub with a walk in shower. If you have any mobility restrictions it would be challenging to get in the shower. Amazing stay!...

"So I think the hardest part about the stay was finding the place took me a minute or two at first and when your down there not having internet connection sucked until you find it man oh man completely breath taking for a first vacay with the family a nice snug cabin on the always flowing river. Beautiful sight to see with the mountains and eagles AND fish. Sucked driving 40 minutes to the store but being on vacation your care for things is very low so it’s not a big deal just enjoy the scenery....
