  • Simple, clean house centered in Vermillion County. 30 minutes to Terre Haute, Indiana & 30 minutes to Danville, Illinois. Walk 3 blocks to visit the WWII Ernie Pyle Museum. Less than 20 minutes to Rockville, the heart of the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival. 10 minutes away from the Newport Antique Auto Hill Climb and 15 minutes away from Clinton's Little Italy Festival. Please note the 3 bedroom house is set up to sleep 6 comfortably(2 queen & 2 twin) . If you choose to bring a total of 8 a queen size air bed is provided with bedding. Also provided are 2 chairs in the living room that convert to small size twin beds.

Dana 1960s Rancher Stay

Great stay and would definitely recommend. Quiet neighborhood with very good local cafe and interesting Ernie Pyle museum. We would stay here again!

Where do I begin... First, this rental was the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. Second, the house was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Third, the items stocked were all top quality and not the cheap stuff. The host was super helpful and informative! I highly recommend staying at this little gem in the sweet little town of Dana, Indiana!

Perfect place to stay

We could not have been happier with our stay. The property and house were very clean, warm, and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. The host makes everything easy and convenient from check in to check out and is readily available.

The place was amazing. The atmosphere is 1960 like the listing says. Beautiful clean place that reminded us of our grandparents. Thank you for the stay.

Better than any hotels.

This property was wonderful! Everything was very nice and extremely clean. The beds were super comfortable. There isn’t a single thing that could be better.

Graduation getaway

This is an awesome, unexpected gem in the middle of a very small town. The property was excellent, clean and spacious. The owner even installed a brand new outdoor firepit stacked with wood. The owner was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. We definitely recommend this property.

A great place to stay with family

The house was great! Very clean and well stocked with water, snacks, even pizzas in the freezer. The garage is a great gathering place for lots of folks. The yard is a large lot with a fire pit. We were very happy with this property.

Very. Clean very welcoming was very helpful letting us in early to prepare fir wedding. After wedding returning to house felt like comming home. Thank you.

Great place close to Turkey Run

My family and I were looking for a house to stay close to Turkey Run State Park that we could bring our dog and this 60's Ranch fit the bill perfectly. Granted it is 24 miles, about a 30 minute drive, but it beats the prices at the INN or a tent, unless you like tent camping. This property had everything you needed, nice beds, plenty of hot water, and washer & dryer. The neighborhood is quiet, didn't really see anybody around. Fair warning if your dog barks it gets all the dogs in the neighborhood going. There is a gas station and a couple restaurants close. The host was very nice and provided us with a great place to stay. We would stay at this property again.
