Warm and pleasant welcome at a quick check-in. Upgraded to a lovely suite, free of charge. Food was braw and muckle, delightful. Staff all charming and helpful. Looking forward to returning.

The water in the shower was tepid at best. Apparently they had the boilers replaced recently, they told us, but the shower was poor. Kettle had a massive dent in it. The replaced kettle only worked when placed on the electricity supply at just the right angle. All the furniture in the room was cheap ...

The Good: Great location! Really amazing view. Very roomy. Very pretty. Pub at the bottoms of the steps is superb. The Bad: Don’t book in the summer. It heats up 10+ degrees hotter than outside and takes hours to cool down at night. We came in August and it was sunny and 25 def outside which translates ...
