★ SAFETY DEPOSIT OR DAMAGE WAIVER REQUIRED ★

We understand that accidents can happen. To help protect the space and ensure a worry-free stay, all reservations require either a damage waiver or a safety deposit.

You can choose the option that works best for you: a non-refundable damage waiver ranging from $29 up to $69, which covers accidental damage and normal wear and tear (no deductible) or a refundable safety deposit of $450, which will be returned after checkout as long as no damage is found and all house rules are followed.

If you’ve already purchased Damage Protection Insurance through a third-party provider, feel free to share your policy with us—we’re happy to review it and we may consider waving the requirement based on your coverage.

Our nightly rate includes the first six guests. With each additional guest, a $29/night fee will be applied.

★ FIREPLACE NOTE ★

Our outdoor fireplace is wood burning. For safety reasons we do not provide wood and we ask our guests to refrain from using it without previously arranged, written approval. Our indoor fireplace is gas operated. Please only use this fireplace if you are familiar with how to use it properly and be aware that you are doing so at your own risk. House Needs Some TLC!

I own a 4br/4ba rental so I have definitely sat on both sides of the owner/renter fence. Check in was easy but when we first walked in we noticed one of the large floor to ceiling windows was shattered. Going out into the backyard, pool was dirty and water level was low. None of the outdoor furniture had been cleaned and there were several wasps nests that we had to deal with. Also, patio furniture is cheap, uncomfortable and several pieces were in disrepair. There were no pool towels. When we asked for them we were told we were provided with plenty of towels. Each person was only allotted ONE shower towel so I guess that’s what you’re supposed to use by the pool as well as to shower. Day 2 we went to run the dishwasher but it was broken. Also, the hot water went out. Turns out it was the outlet in the garage was broken. My husband found an extension cord and we had to find an outlet in the laundry room that worked. Another issue, my 11 year old was walking along the shoreline and I guess that isn’t allowed as the next thing we know the cops were at the front door because the neighbor called them. So be careful and DO NOT stray. Also, you can not rent or drive a boat on this side of the lake. Something I wish we had know ahead of time. Overall, we all agreed for what we experienced the house was several hundred dollars overpriced per night. I will say the property management company did their best and were responsive but the owners need to put some effort into this property!

Nice lake view

Host: Stay Monday-Friday I was told an email would be sent the day before but got nothing by noon on Monday. Had to request info, but entry password was wrong Had to call for TV passwords Got automated texts & conflicting responses from 3 different phone numbers Unsure which number to use, asked questions 3 times to the 3 numbers Was told the pool would be cleaned on Monday & Thursday, but it was dirty on arrival. Pool was not clean & circulating until Thursday Host called and told me not to park in the street, but I was in the driveway. I had a quick food delivery, but it seems a “Karen” thought I was parked on the street and called about it New trash cans delivered during my stay & a seemingly intoxicated/nosey neighbor came over and questioned me, the guest, about them Tried to leave a tip on another card, but my original card was charged too, although refunded. Told “apologies, all of our stuff is automated,” but no human to make sure it was working properly Home: Kitchen smart refrigerator didn’t make ice No cold water in the master bathroom tub & shower dripped nonstop No blinds in front bedroom, only sheer curtains. Window faces street, where people jog by Very long antique canoe spans lakeview window; difficult to get around it to go into master bedroom hall Home was clean, but did find an inflated balloon in dining area from someone else’s stay TV in the front bedroom (not master), living area & upper loft All require streaming passwords; not easy to use

Horrible

The property itself is beautiful and clean, I will give them that. The communication with the management company is atrocious. I emailed to ask if we could go fishing, they answered with yes and a link about the lake. In the photos they show on the listing there is a dock with nothing but a table on it so we went fishing off that dock. My 2 children, myself and my husband were on it for maybe 20 minutes. We did make a mess or doing anything unusual. That evening after my children had gone to sleep we get a knock on the door from the authorities, waking my children and treating us like criminals. The neighbors pressed criminal trespassing charges on us for using her dock, the one in the photos. This was after the officers explained to her that we had no idea and were just renting the home. The management company did nothing to resolve this situation, actually they apologized for me misunderstanding. I was not misunderstood. This was lack of clear communication and misrepresentation from the photos they posted on this home. I am very disappointed in my stay and will never book here again. I would not recommend this company or home to anyone.

Peaceful Stay

My family lost our grandmother right before Christmas. We rented this house to work during the day, and visit our grandmother during her last days. This was a peaceful and serene place to return too after emotionally exhausting evenings. The home is in an older neighborhood, and it has been well loved, but it is clean, updated, and lovely.

Great House

This house was awesome! Plenty of room for all of us, great view and very well maintained and decorated home. It was exactly what was listed on VRBO. Owner was a good communicator as well. Will definitely stay here again!
