Welcoming to pets, plenty of space. House was clean but could use general maintenance as surfaces are worn both inside and out. Manager was helpful when we could not locate items such as hand soap and hand towels for bathrooms.

We visited the area for a family reunion that was hosted not too far away from the house. Gigi was thoughtful and proactive about reaching out with welcome instructions and checked in on us with nice note after day 1. The house was actually way bigger than we anticipated, so we had lots of room (and rooms) to enjoy and spread out a bit. Everything else was as expected and like we saw in the pictures; we traveled with two young kids and the house was kid-friendly and had lots of games that they enjoyed. I would absolutely stay here again if we’re ever back in the area.

The host was very responsive to a heat issue as well as hot water. We were not on premises very much. A bathroom door in an upstairs bathroom was a curtain and provided little privacy. The beds were comfortable.

In town for a birthday

The place was spacious & accommodated my family well. The amount of bathrooms was such a positive 4 full baths! The uniqueness & color scheme was a nice touch. I wouldn’t mind staying there again. However I do feel the towels & wash clothes need to be updated. I personally brought my own & i am glad I did.Otherwise no complaints. I also appreciated them allowing us to check in early. that was very helpful as we were exhausted from our travels.

The property served our needs: accommodating a large group and convenient location to nearby family. There are actually 4 bathrooms, which was a relief! But it is even more... interesting... in person than the photos present. Not what we would have selected if it didn't meet those needs. Bath towels need replacing, many were quite tattered. Kitchen supplies were sparse and/or low quality.

Out of State Work Lodging

We stayed at Zen Country for about 3 weeks as a lodging for out of state work lodging. It was a PERFECT alternative to hotel rooms. We loved the comfortable bedrooms and the excellent kitchen to make meals instead of having to eat out every night. Two members of our group truly enjoyed the surrounding outdoors taking walks and/or hikes every single day! The house was both cozy AND spacious for everyone to be able to retreat to their own areas at the end of the night. We would absolutely recommend this location to another group traveling to this area!

SO MUCH FUN!!!

The house, the property, all of it was just FUN! We had 8 out of town guest in for a wedding and had enough room for us all to have our own space but still be together. The home is eclectic and whimsical and the use of the space is amazing. Evrything you need to just relax and enjoy your time there is included and easy to locate and use. We enjoyed using the outside grill and firepit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Great Place for Family Gatherings

This was a great experience. It allowed us to stay as a family and celebrate our mother’s 70th birthday with ease and comfort. She got to see 3 generations of family members in one location. It was an emotional heart warming weekend, all made possible by Zen Country Properties. The location was surprisingly close to all necessary amenities like grocery stores. The property was clean, had plenty of towels and kitchen items to accommodate our large family. I only wish it was warmer weather, so the kids could have enjoyed the huge yard and the outdoor amenities. Although we had the property managers number, we didn’t need to use it the entire weekend. I would definitely rate this property a five stars and would definitely stay there again.

Fun little getaway

The place was beautiful. Unfortunately we were up there for a wedding so we didn't get to spend as much time on the property as we would've liked to. The property has lots to do outside (darts, cornhole, fireplace, grilling) and lots of games and things inside as well. We had a really good time. The host was very helpful and friendly.

Not only was the communication on point, the willingness to be flexible with a situation that went left at the last minute was a blessing to us single moms. Then the home was beautiful, spacious, and accommodating to our every need, from practice space to design and creativity space. Just perfect!
