It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. "The host was great. She worked very hard to get us in a little earlier and we appreciated it. Great little apartment in a really wonderful area. So close to the train and bus right across the street. Easy walk to the stores and cafes and also the beach. So much better than staying in the city. I met some of the nicest and most helpful locals. My only suggestion would be a better mattress. Really nice and very clean. Loved the kitchen. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

"This is a wonderful gem of a place to stay. My husband, dog and I stayed for 2 nights and we honestly could find no fault. Everything you could possibly need was provided which was a lovely touch. Even down to being able to grab a cuppa whilst we got our bearings was perfect. The weather was horrible but we felt relaxed and rested which is priceless. Would have loved to have stayed longer so will definitely look to do that in the future. Well done Julie, your home is amazing "

"The flat as well as Fiona was lovely. Everything was clean and tidy and ready when we arrived. I’m not entirely sure if it’s mentioned in the description but there are a few stairs to climb as the flat is on the fourth floor. It was a surprise that brought about some huffs and puffs but also loads of laughs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to anyone looking for some time in Edinburgh."
