"The room had a nice balcony with a beautiful sea view and pristine beach. The pool was large and child friendly but without a lifeguard (probably not necessary)! There was a noticeable lack of staff - our room lacked towels when we arrived and we had to ask for our room to be cleaned after it was left for 2 days. Only 2 of the restaurants were open and the food was cold. The hotel is far away from KK so we could only eat at the 2 restaurants! There was no activity’s for children except the pool....

"No parking available so we parked at the mall adjacent to the hotel. Our flights are at 9am so we checked out at 5.30am but door to mall car park is locked by mall staff. Walked up car ramps to car park from outside but could not leave as payment must be made inside the mall which open at 10am. There are also no security personnel at mall to help us. Fortunately a kind hotel was was able to call mall parking attendant to come over in motorbike so we can pay and leave the car park. Fortunately we...

"The hotel is located only 20-min drive from Mari Mari Cultural Village and offers great views of both sunset from the restaurant and the sunrise from the Rose Villa. The only disappointing thing was the long wait for breakfast, which caused us to leave for Kinabalu Park much later than we planned. Once the restaurant service improves, this will be the perfect hotel."

"Great place with nice rooms and beautiful view (both to Mt Kinabalu and Kota Kinabalu). Standard Malaysian breakfast and decent lunch and dinner menu. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room (104) was very good although there are a few ants around (so make sure not to leave food around). Bed, shower and toilet were nice and clean. Internet worked quite well (not guaranteed in this area). Our best place in Sabah so far (out of 6 good hotels)."

"Need to improve on the cleanliness of the kitchen. Inspect the kitchen utensils, the water filter is leaking, the dish soup is non-existent, the drying rack left in the kitchen cupboard to house insects, the living room sofa leather was teared apart. The amenities advertised includes water bottles, but when asked for it from the staff on site, it’s not provided as complimentary. The bedroom door cannot be locked for some room, there’s stain on every bed and bedsheets. Overall the 3 bedroom...

"Toilet has no water piping facilities..just a tissue paper for this? Air cond position not suitable.. even though we waited for an hour, it still couldn’t feel cool in the room.."

"The bathroom cleanliness was terrible. Sign of fungus and mold were seen on the shower wall and sink. House keeping was not done properly."

"Family run business, very friendly and accommodating staff. Room was clean, basic amenities (eg dated wardrobe). Sheets and towels clean, a few with stains. Very close to Gaya st and 2 great supermarkets next door."

"Walking distance to pier to outer islands. Also night market and boardwalk. Good central location. Ask for alley side not Main Street side due to traffic noise. Staff was very nice. WiFi was strong. "
