Stunning Rural Spot with Spectacular Views Perfect for 2-12 people

This house is uniquely located between Queenstown, Arrowtown and Frankton giving easy access to golf courses, walking and biking tracks. 3 Ski Areas to choose from.
If you want privacy and space outside this property has it. Beautifully landscaped and views towards the Remarkables Mountain Range. Great for Groups and
families, awesome playhouse for the kids.
Cosy fire to keep warm in winter, while watching the snow fall outside.We have plenty of toys available for children. We do charge for children over the age of 6months.
Special conditions: Cancellations due to Covid shutdown but within our cancellation policy can receive full credit for another time.
Pets allowed with prior approval. Please discuss type of dogs as we have two small dogs on site.
We do not allow Parties without prior approval. This is a quiet environment

The house was just perfect for our family. Hosts Tim and Jan were very welcoming and accommodating. The house had everything we needed for our stay including games toys and books for both children and adults. Also the fabulous family photos of the family that grew up in the home along the walls made you picture what it would be like to grow up there. The gardens were absolutely fabulous with spectacular views from the multiple viewing points around the home.. The wild life all came out to visit us including the baby Quails. We had a perfect few days here and will definitely recommend to others.

Home Away from Home

This was our second stay at Mountain View, and we absolutely love the property. It truly is a home away from home for us. Jan and Tim are amazing hosts and lovely people. Very helpful, friendly, and yet were also mindful of our privacy. The house is in a beautiful rural location with amazing views of the Remarkables and surrounding countryside. The kitchen has all the amenities we could ever need, is warm and really comfortable. Queenstown, Arrowtown and Frankton are a short drive away, so for us the location is spot on, close, but still nice and private. The house is really well laid out for a large group like ours (10 adults), and family dinners around the large dining table were a great way to spend some added time together. We were blessed this time with snowfall to low levels, and waking up to everything covered in white was absolutely awesome. And the sunrises were stunning. We will definitely be back. Thank you Jan and Tim

What and awesome spot

We honestly can't fault this property. From the moment we drove up and were met and showed through the house by Jan and Tim, we absolutely loved it. We had family and friends come and go throughout the duration of our stay, and Jan and Tim were always super helpful and accommodating. The property had everything we needed, plenty of room, and is in such a great spot, quiet, rural views, but close to Arrowtown, Queenstown and Frankton. We also took our dog Salty, who had an absolute blast playing with Chippy, Jan and Tims dog. The whole family loved staying here, and we will definitely be back. Huge thanks to you both Jan and Tim, thanks heaps for opening up your beautiful home to us. Thanks heaps, Brett, and family, friends and Salty :-)

Wonderful place to stay, the location and views are spectacular. The house has everything you could possibly need, very comfortable and warm. Our children loved running around the property with Chippy and playing in the cute little playhouse. Highly recommend

Beautiful Views and Gardens

Great weeks stay at Mountain View. Jan and Tim were great and the house very comfortable. Everything is there for cooking and a nice outside area for entertaining and eating. Our dog loved roaming the property. Will come again even just for the views of the Remarkables from the outside well manicured gardens and deck.

Fantastic holiday spot!

Great location handy to Queenstown central, Arrowtown and surrounding areas. Tim was an excellent host, making us feel very welcome and providing local knowledge if needed. We had our adult kids plus two dogs and were very comfortable. The house is very well laid out to easily accommodate two families or larger groups. Location is very central for Queenstown, Arrowtown, airport, shopping centres, vineyards, etc only a short drive away although a car is required. Thoroughly recommend!

Mountain Views are spectacular

We had a lovely stay - house is large, cozy and feels very much like home. Big and well appointed kitchen had everything we needed. Gardens are lovely and exciting for the kids. The daily tui visits made our day. Tim was a fantastic host - thank you.

Family wedding event

Jan and Tim were fantastic and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The property is perfect for a big family and has everything you need to enjoy a family stay (including the lovely Lucy dog). The garden and views are spectacular and waking up in the morning to see the sun rise over the mountains and enjoying dinner as the sun sets is very special. Tim and Jan could not have done enough for us to help us enjoy our stay. Thank you for making our special family wedding event so special and so enjoyable.

Large cozy home in a great location

We had a wonderful holiday with our kids. The house warm large, comfortable and perfectly warm. Tim and Jan were lovely hosts. beautiful mountain views. Our kids loved Lucy the dog and the visiting chooks, bunnies and black sheep! Great location, 5 mins to Coronet peak Ski field turn off and 15 mins to Remarks. Easy drive into Queenstown and Arrowtown. Although we visited in winter, I can imagine that the garden must be sensational in summer . Highly recommmend Mountain View cottage.
