Escape to The HighView.

  • Centrally located and barely five minutes via water from the Hwy 34 boat launch, the High View is a peaceful retreat in a secluded deep-water slough. Floating dock and space to park the boat trailer. After a chilly day on the water, relax in the hot tub and star gaze. Plenty of outdoor living space with three decks jutting over the lake and large boat house. An outside incline trolley to the boat house ensures everyone can enjoy the lake -- and make hauling the cooler to the boat so easy. Master suite has private deck, large walk in/roll in shower, and office area (remote workers rejoice!) with lake views. Main level is open design with fully equipped kitchen, living area and dining area. Blackstone griddle on main deck lets the chef out of the kitchen and makes whipping up meals a breeze. Lower level is an ensuite queen bedroom with porch access, den with full size daybed and twin trundle and full bath. All bedrooms and common areas have internet enabled TVs. Boat house equipped with gas grill, fish cleaning table, floats, lily pad, two kayaks, two SUPs, and secure storage for your items.
    The HighView sleeps nine at full capacity and is ideal for two couples and children or a family get-away with the grandparents.

Very modern and beautiful home! Plenty of room and really enjoyed the water toys they had available. Would definitely stay here again!
We brought a boat and three jet skis. The dock was amazing!

The house is great and perfectly equipped to enjoy lazy days at the lake. The views are Absolutely beautiful! The incline lift is an awesome way to get to the dock. My only critique is that there are no blinds/curtains on any of the windows. If you do not enjoy waking up at sunrise pack a sleeping mask! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

This property was incredible! The views are impeccable. The amenities are amazing. The Lilly pad was a huge hit for our kids along with the standup paddle boards and kayaks. We are able to have our surf boat with us. The host were very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Our kids also loved the hot tub. Was an amazing vacation.

This house is the coolest! Nice and secluded but a perfect boat ride into the main body of water. My whole family gathered here to celebrate a birthday and we enjoyed every minute. My pictures look like postcards. They have great water toys to enjoy. Floats and an amazing canoe for fishing around the area. Even with a little rain we were able to get outdoors and enjoy the lake. The host was perfect answered all my questions and was very prompt on giving you answers. Can’t wait to visit again!Florida Family

Perfect for my son’s birthday weekend! Dara is awesome and her home is beautiful. Waking up to the sunrise was like something out of a movie!

Beautiful place and love the views.Convenient by lake to Kowaliga Restaurant and The Landing. Great time with family. Just wish the trolley worked to bring items down to the dock. Would definitely stay again.

There isn’t a photo that does this property real justice. When you walk in; you’ll know what I mean! The house is so beautiful and so are the views. The house comes equipped with everything you could need for a lake trip and more. The hot tub was wonderful. Dara was super communicative and was very accommodating and helpful. We took full advantage of the property and enjoyed kayaking, hanging out at the dock and enjoyed the house in the evenings! It’s secluded and a great way to “get away!” The house is clean, in great shape and she has it set up where everything has instructions and you can live there is if it were your own! We went as a couple, and it was wonderful, but it also is a very family-friendly place! Thanks for the wonderful place to stay the weekend!

Peaceful retreat

The place was absolutely perfect for us and it was the best place we have stayed while visiting Lake Martin! The location in a quiet cove was serene and the views were beautiful. The owners were extremely friendly and took care of everything perfectly! We would absolutely recommend this property and would not hesitate to come stay again!

Serenity on Lake Martin

Wonderful home. Unbelievable views. There’s a lot of verticality to it, but it gave us our steps and workout for the day so we didn’t feel guilty about boating and swimming all day.

A Great Getaway

We had a great spring break at the lake! The house had plenty of room for everyone to do their thing! The boathouse was a great place to hang out and relax. The views from the decks were beautiful. The home was great and in a great location on the lake. Thanks for your hospitality!

Amazing Place to Stay on Lake Martin!

This was a great place to stay. It was extremely clean, exactly as advertised and the host was very nice and responsive. The information binder described everything you would need to know about the space in great detail and had good local recommendations. Would definitely stay here again! A+++ property and host.

We had 3 teenage girls with us and they stayed entertained and happy for the whole trip due to the amenities provided and the fabulous docks to jump in the lake. Views were amazing! House is beautiful!

Romantic Getaway

House was amazing! The views from inside the house and the deck were perfect! Favorite features were the Master Shower and hot tub! I also must mention the location on the lake was ideal! With a public launch 9 minutes from the house. The owners were great to talk to and were very helpful! We do hope to be able to stay there again next summer!

Fabulous fall break!

We stayed at Dara and Mike’s house with our family and a few of my son’s college friends. It was fantastic! House was perfect! Loved the space, the dock, the views, the hot tub, the kayaks, canoe, SUP, all great to keep teens/young adults occupied! We brought our boat as well and the house was convenient to the boat ramp and marina for gas. Dara and Mike were easy to communicate with and we would definitely stay again! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

By far our favorite place to stay on the lake!

Absolutely the perfect place to stay and enjoy some peaceful time on the lake! Amazing views! The extremely well equipped house had so much to offer. The pictures don't do it justice. We will be coming back next year for sure!!! Thank you Dara for allowing us to enjoy your little slice of heaven! :)

Auburn football weekend

We loved the house, very nice and very clean. However, we all disliked the lack of window coverings in the bathrooms and bedrooms. It would have been nice for privacy at night and the morrnings were super bright in the bedrooms.
