"That hotel was a kind of shock for us. I have to admit that room was clean and comfortable, but it is a small roadside motel, rather than hotel, in a very unattractive area. No amenities at all. Room’s window faced a wall. Other rooms face a loud and busy street, so we were actually lucky. It was OK for us to spend a night on our road trip, but definitely do not recommend."

"Bathroom smells like mildew especially the shower stall. Shower head was moldy. I am sensitive to mold and mildew. Bed was ok needs a topper. Plenty of pillows. Walking distance to downtown and restaurants. Easy parking. We had a room that had adjoining door and we could hear the people talking all night through the door."

"Nice place. Nothing over the top. We arrived 20 minutes before check-in, and the girl at the counter asked if we wanted to pay the $25 early check-in fee. That was very off-putting. I'm sure the room was ready to go. She had zero personality even before that question, but the young gentleman in training who was there when we returned was awesome. The gentleman who was training him also had zero personality. We saw that as some guests were checking in with him. This is a hospitality business and...

"This is a small unit with updated flare. What’s unique about this inn, are the window shutters, no carpet and low maintenance place. It’s all worth it for the price if all you want is a place to have a quiet cozy place to sleep. This is not a fancy place but close to the beach."

"The staff seemed irritated and unhappy.room was disgusting. Other peoples dirty clothes were left in the room. The door was broken and didn't shut all the way but the latch was broken as well and we had to pull at the door to get in and out of the room. SUPER unsafe! The curtain was broken and hanging. The remote was broken. The sink faucet in the bathroom was broken and sprayed water everywhere and the floors were filthy. I'll never stay there again."

"Nice location and friendly front desk ztaff, however the rooms and cleanliness needs some work - like grime in and around the shower; someone's old coffee in the pot; cabinets hanging off; and all the furniture is old and dingy that feel sort of gross to sit on. Would have been nice if a suite came with some dish soap, as after seeing the coffee pot, not to sure about how clean anything was in the kitchette. The location is good for Pismo, but unfortunately this hotel is in need of some TLC."

"The front office needs some upgrading , but the room was upgraded and quite nice. The bed was extremely comfortable and there is a keurig coffee maker and refrigerator. No microwave, but there appeared to be a space for one. Parking was readily available and there was a food truck on site as well as several situated close by."
