"Mill Lodge is located in a quiet side street with pubs and food shopping nearby. Our compact accommodation was very clean, cosy, comfortable and had all we needed, with a generous supply of teas, coffee and Welsh cakes in the room. At breakfast, there was a wide choice of quality ingredients to choose from, carefully prepared and presented in impeccable style. A nice touch was the freshly squeezed orange juice. "Very clean and well equipped. Check in information good. Getting information on how to check out at 1:55 in the morning was less than helpful as it woke us up. We have to leave some alerts on as husband receives medical alerts overnight. It may not be a problem for those who can switch a do not disturb on. Also had to message to request an internet password for the medical monitoring. Owner was very helpful and provided it straight away but it would be helpful to have it available if internet is...

"Our room at the Deri-Down was lovely and comfortable with a large walk-in wardrobe and a modern well equipped en-suite shower room. There was a multi-channel TV, a small fridge with milk, tea/cofffee provided. The landlady was very helpful and allowed my son and his wife to change in our room for the wedding we were all going to. "We had a lovely one night stay at the Kings Head. As we travelled down we unfortunately had a very late check in but the team were super friendly and gave us a warm welcome on arrival. It’s in a great location for exploring and the cooked breakfast was delicious. "

"Fantastic self contained apartments in a lovely location. Immaculately kept and a big comfy bed! Staff very friendly and came to see us to make sure we'd settled in OK. I would definitely stay here again."

"We very much enjoyed our stay again at The Dragon. Lovely location in centre of Crickhowell. Staff were very friendly and helpful and excellent customer service despite being very busy. Food was excellent.Very clean room. The only challenge was driving our car through the very narrow entrance to the car park but appreciate that the building is very old and no cars back then! "

"Brilliant stay, the staff and the owner were great very homey and warm atmosphere. Very kindly made me an early breakfast each day as I had to be up for a training course. Rooms were clean tidy and brilliantly sound proofed as I heard nothing from the bar downstairs. Great little place would highly recommend."

"The shower area was great. The room was comfortable. All nicely done. The area it was in is up and coming. There is no elevator, so if you are in rooms 5,6,7 or 8 plan on going up 2 and 3 flights of stairs. Parking is close by."

"Great location. Room was very compact. No room to swing a cat in the shower. Strange layout to bathroom, shower built on 3 half steps, could be a huge fall risk. Annoying green light from emergency lighting shining in the room all night. Breakfast was delightful, however i would prefer my toast to be served the same time as the eggs, not the same time as the cereal. Toast and crossiant cold by the time i came to eat them. "
