"I mean it’s older and not in a big tourist area. It was adequate for a night. Staff was nice but they were understaffed and one person running around trying to do everything. It was ok."

"A very pleasant surprise as a solo guest. Needed an overnight stay for an event in Abergavenny, went with no expectations, just needed a comfortable, clean place and that's what I got. "A nice big room with ample parking. In a quiet location just outside the town. No staff on site but a key lock to each room. Spoke to staff on the phone who were very helpful to check everything was ok. "

"The receptionist was kind enough to let us park our car while we went up to Sugarloaf early in the morning. All the staff are very friendly. We had our dinner at their restaurant. The walls had splatter & marks where something had run down them & the bathroom was dirty in the corner. We couldn't get any hot water from the taps so used the kettle which didn't turn itself off.
