Our self-contained retreat is on the Eastern Dudley Peninsula with unspoiled beaches and bays, wildlife galore on the property and close to wineries. Kangaroo Island attractions are ready to welcome you - from 250km of pristine beaches and coastline to over 2000 sq km of wilderness, rolling farmlands, local wine, food, beer and even gin producers!

Our welcoming KI home has been described as 'the most beautiful independent accommodation on island'. The home overlooks heritage listed native bushland offering peace and seclusion, only minutes from iconic KI attractions. Be woken by birdsong, not traffic: your neighbours are the grass trees, and resident kangaroos, wallabies, wrens and wedge-tailed eagles. You may even meet a local echidna during your stay!

The home easily houses two families / 2+ couples, and is a real home away from home, with extra touches including:

There is a relaxed outdoor daybed and pod chair in our screened deck area to take full advantage of the views and bird/wildlife watching. Indoors you can choose between a cosy TV nook or comfy lounges (which the wall-mounted wide screen smart TV can be turned to face). We have an additional smart TV in the bunk room and a selection of books and board games.

For meals, there are indoor and outdoor dining options for up to 12 people, and on the deck is a large, easy to operate gas-fuelled bbq. There's also a coffee machine, so you don't have to leave home for your morning cuppa!
