Welcome to The Shores of Lost Lake, your family’s peaceful getaway in northern Michigan. This beautiful 5-bedroom, 2-bathroom lakefront home offers everything you need for a relaxing and unforgettable stay — from stunning sunsets and water fun to cozy evenings on the deck.

The Space

A fully equipped kitchen with all cookware, dishes, and utensils. (No dishwasher)

The home also features a fourth bedroom just off the garage, perfect for guests who want a bit more privacy. A fifth sleeping area outside. This Sheshed is great for the teen age kids to call their own.

Guests have full access to the home, deck, private dock, and included watercraft (kayaks and pedal boat).
Pontoon boat rental available by the week with reservation.

Other Things to Note

No smoking and no pets allowed. A $1,500 cleaning fee applies if either is discovered.

Internet is available but not high-speed due to our remote location.

Cleaning service provided between stays.

Early check-in may be available depending on the prior guest’s checkout condition.

Please leave the home in good condition to avoid extra cleaning charges.

Deposit: 50% due at booking

Awesome place on the lake!

Kevin was such a great host! His family’s place on the lake is a great place to relax and enjoy water activities. We rented their very nice pontoon boat to do some tubing and fishing. Everyone also enjoyed the kayaks as well as fishing off of the dock. The house had plenty of space to accommodate all 6 of us. Ludington and Pentwater are just a short drive away if you need to find a restaurant for dining out or do some shopping. Just be aware that the roads leading to the house are not paved but are in good shape. We drove two SUVs so it wasn’t an issue.

Peaceful pleasure.

The grandkids had a great time and so did I. Plenty of room and great location to travel for other activities. Neighbors were nice and friendly. The lake was great for fishing, kayaking and paddle boat. Thank you for this wonderful summer memory for the family.

Perfect place with lots to do right on the property, swimming,fishing,kayaking, fire pit, hot tub, grill. Kevin was easy to contact and very nice. Great for kids and adult's! We all enjoyed it very much!

Great cabin

This was our summer vacation with our adult children, spouses, and grandchildren. This was a wonderful lake home that was very well stocked with everything we needed for a fun vacation. Perfect place to escape and make great memories!

We took our brady bunch of kiddos for the week and had the best time! From age 17 to 8 we occupied everyone for the week. This property is set up perfectly for an enjoyable escape. We made wonderful memories that will last a lifetime and hope to go back some day! If you’re questioning this place - just book it! You wont regret it.

Family Vacation

We went to my Niece’s wedding at a beautiful venue in Ludington. We decided to make it a long weekend! What a Gem of a house! It’s so perfect for an entire family, something to do for every age! Relaxing and beautiful

Our friends and family showed a and relaxing stay. We played in the beach, enjoyed the hot tub and just chillin’. This was a great place to stay and showed us easy access to the silver lake sand dunes.

Beautiful Spot!

We had a most wonderful stay at Eden Lake. The lake was beautiful and mostly quiet. The home provided many kayaks and a canoe as well as a paddle boat. The lake was clear and the temperature was just right. We also enjoyed the hot tub, with an amazing view. We were about 30 minutes from Ludington, and had a nice lunch there and everyone enjoyed the Silver Lake Dunes. We also were about 45 minutes or so from Manistee and had a wonderful dinner there and did some shopping. There was also some great fishing in the lake at the house as well. The house was well stocked and suited us perfectly. We loved our stay!

Perfect long weekend getaway!

We had a great time! Neighbors were very friendly! We enjoyed the kayaks and pedal boat! The kids had a great time fishing! The house was great for two families! We had 3 adults, 2 18 year old girls, 13, 10 year old boys, 15 year old girl and a 1 year old boy. There was plenty to do for all of them! Our goal was to get away and enjoy nature! We were not disappointed!

Great Lake House Getaway

This is a wonderful place for families to unwind and enjoy a small, quiet lake. Kids had a blast in the water, on the dock and in the sand area. Comfortable rooms and porch areas. Kind neighbors and lots of small fish for kids to catch. Paddle boat, kayaks and raft were lots of fun for all! Pack your suits, poles and bait and have a great weekend at this house.

Something for everyone

Our family of 7 had a great time. There was something for everyone to do - kayaks, paddleboat, swimming, sun, and shade. Spent time in both Ludington and Mears - convenient to both. Lake was very quiet midweek and provided a very relaxing vacation. Especially appreciated the seating for indoor and outdoor dining. We look forward to staying again.

Very calm and relaxing vacation

This home has everything you need to just sit back and relax by the lake. Kevin was very attentive to all of my texts and questions throughout our stay. The only down fall we saw was that there were not any screens on the windows. The weather was beautiful, we would have loved to open up some windows and the screen doors to let the fresh air in, however there are too many bugs to even consider that.

family time on Lost Lake

Can't say enough about this vrbo property. The pictures don't do it justice as we loved the views and enjoyed all the extra touches that are available. The pontoon boat is first class and we took it out for fun twice a day. The owners met us there to show us everything about the property and the boat. It was so nice. The hot tub is wonderful in the morning or evening, the game rooms are fun for the kids, the grill is awesome, the fire pit, the kayaks, the hammocks, EVERYTHING! Lost lake is crystal clear and not very busy at all. Quiet retreat and only 20 minutes to either Ludington or Pentwater. My family will want to come back for sure.

Relaxing Family Fun

We had an amazing time enjoying the lake house. There was so much to do right at the house- kayaks, canoe, fishing off dock, hot tub, ping pong table. We were a family of 10 and there was a lot of room for everyone. The house was fully stocked for us. Kevin was very responsive and much appreciated. Only caution is the fish at the end of the dock were very friendly:) I would recommend this house to all my friends. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Awesome family getaway!

Awesome! Awesome! Kevin and Jen have a Great Lake house, pictures don’t do it justice. Total family experience, plenty to do, tubing, fishing, campfires, games, and much more! We had 9 and plenty of room. Communication was awesome, always available for questions, always answered promptly. Would definitely stay again, would recommend to everybody.

Lost Lake Vacation

What a great place to stay!! Very spacious and accommodating with lots of fun amenities. The hot tub, ping pong & foosball tables were a big hit with our grandchildren!! The water toys were a bonus also. The owners were very easy to communicate with.

Summer at the lake

Our family (4 adults and 6 kids) had a wonderful stay at the Shores of Lost Lake. Plenty of room for all of us and the lake was very relaxing. Spent every day out on the pontoon boat and soaking in the hot tub. Close enough to Silver Lake, Ludington, and Pentwater for quick visits for eating out and activities. Great communication with Kevin before and during our stay. Thanks again....

Great family vacation rental

The host/hostess were very helpful. We appreciated the helpful communication during the entire process, as well as them being present when we arrived to give a tour, answer any questions etc. They provide so many things to do (corn hole, fooseball, ping pong, kayaks, paddle boat, games, beach area etc.) and the option of renting the beautiful pantoon boat. We had our children and their families with us for the week. Great time and memories!
