"This cabin felt about as close as you could stay in Yosemite Valley (unless you’re paying to stay in the lodges or camping). The proximity made it simpler to get to all of the nearby hikes and eateries in the valley. The cabin itself was perfect for our needs and we didn’t have any issues. It’s great for 1-2 adults! The manager, Annie, was amazing! She communicated with us every step of the way. Highly recommend! "

"Loved the Yosemite West location, the view at the end of the road, and a comfortable house. While not flashy, it is quite comfortable. The host, Bill, was great and even went above and beyond to help me with a little request. Thanks, Bill! As with all VRBOs, if there is something missing from the kitchen, just ask!"

"The actual place is great. Beds comfortable, kitchen good, fun pool table. 5 stars. You need to understand the location. If you are booking in the height of summer, ignore this paragraph! The unit is inside the park and at a high elevation. If there is ANY snow, it is a challenge to get to. Chains are very often required (and necessary). "We liked being located in a scenic and quiet location far away from the large crowds surrounding Yosemite Village. However, it does take 20 minutes driving time from the cabin to get to Yosemite Village and some major attractions of the park. The kitchen of the cabin has been updated where it is brightly lit and well equipped for making meals throughout your stay. "Decided to upgrade to a cabin instead of camping this year. Cabin was just like home, and very well kept. My friend couldn't make it, so I had the place to myself. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood within the park. There was food and LOTS of condiments. Everything in the cabin worked perfectly. Thanks Joe and Diane!"

"I know Wawona fairly well and this cabin is positioned perfectly! It’s right above the main swimming hole and the sound of the river is amazing at night. It’s an old cabin but has everything you need."

"Location is 5 minutes from Glacier Point drive. Staying in the park allows us access the park without a reservation. Sofa beds aren’t in good condition. House out dated but everything works fine. "

"Property was inside Yosemite. 30 minute (16 mile) drive. It had what was needed and was nice to stay in. The property could use some TLC to make it ‘feel’ cleaner."

When we arrived the dishes in the dishwasher were dirty and it was full.. We washed the dishes, and put them away. We only had several towels, 1 wash rag, 2 hand towels, and several big towels. "We spent 4 nights, my wife and I and two close friends who were visiting us from Louisiana, driving to Yosemite Valley, and hiking there and in the Giant Sequoia Grove and climbing Vernal Falls. The cabin was very nice and well appointed for our needs. The space allowed for privacy and also conversation and eating areas, and the Foresta area was very quiet and beautiful and allowed for local hiking to Foresta Falls without having to drive at all.
