"I reserved a room with a river view. The only window looks into the hall. Of the under level.The room was stuffy it only has controllable heat. The air is controlled upstairs.I recommend bringing a fan. This was my second time at this lodge. First time was much better. Thats why i came back.Thst and the pizza is amazing. "

"Wonderful restored apartment building from 1920s, mostly original elegant woodwork. Some rooms still with much or all original features - such as a cast iron clawfoot tub in our room (Dahlia), also an old treadle sewing machine converted to a side table. "The staff was very friendly and my room was nice. The hotel was quiet for being very busy, which was nice. The heater in my room was not working properly. There was an electrical burning smell when I turned it on, which was strange. I tried the regular fan setting and it seemed to work fine. The breakfast selection was lacking and the hot food was not great. This was surprising since I've had really good experiences at Country Inn and Suites locations. "
