Bellarine getaway close to the beach, deck, BBQ, WiFi. Pet friendly

This large studio-style space was purpose-built with the comfort and convenience of our guests in mind. Super comfy Queen-sized bed with electric blanket, 2-seater couch, dining table, kitchenette, luxurious ensuite with generous soaking tub, private deck with BBQ, smart TV (55”), free high-speed internet and Netflix. Air-conditioned with ceiling fan. We’re also pet friendly with fully enclosed pet courtyard including doggie sandpit.

Ideal for a weekend getaway or flexcation, we’re close to the beach (10 minutes walk) and local shops (7 minutes walk) and an ideal location to enjoy all that the Bellarine Peninsula offers.

What to do during your stay:

Snuggle up on the couch, read a book, play a board game or enjoy Netflix on the 55” flat-screen TV.

Explore local markets, parklands, bike trails, beaches and art galleries or play a round of golf at one of several nearby golf courses.

The Bellarine Peninsula is also a foodie and wine heaven. Enjoy local produce from makers and growers at almost 50 food and wine destinations throughout the peninsula.

Take a short stroll along the creek takes you to the beach (10 minutes). Watch out for native bird life: magpies, ravens, ibis, ducks, Rainbow lorikeet, black cockatoos, corellas.
A short drive takes you to the beautiful beaches of Ocean Grove, Queenscliff and 13th Beach.

After a full day exploring, relax in the huge soaking tub or enjoy a cuppa or a glass of wine on your private deck.

The kitchenette is equipped with mini fridge, microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery and basic cooking utensils, as well as a variety of teas, coffee and hot chocolate.

The accommodation has dead bolts on each door for your security. We don’t use the front entrance when we have guests - that is your private entrance. You also have a private entrance via the guest deck.

Check in 2pm. Check out 11.00am.

Peaceful and relaxing

Spotless and comfortable with all amenities required for our stay. We especially enjoyed bbqing and relaxing on the private outdoor deck. Our dog enjoyed the provided dog bed so much that we think we will go get him one. Thank you Maree and Bill.

Wonderful retreat!

We had an incredible two-night stay at Maree and Bill’s studio. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home with our private entrance and the warm welcome for our two Shih Tzus, who joined us on this trip. The location is unbeatable—just a five-minute walk to the beach and the creek trail, and a short drive to the renowned wineries of the Bellarine Peninsula.The studio is thoughtfully designed, featuring a beautifully built patio with a Weber barbecue, which we used to prepare our meals, and a well-equipped kitchen with a fully stocked pantry (thank you for that thoughtful touch!). The living space was cozy and comfortable, complete with a luxurious bathtub and a TV with streaming services to relax after a day of exploring.Maree and Bill truly went above and beyond to create a welcoming, relaxing retreat. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful property, quiet area. We were only dropping in on our way through down to Tassie but after a full day of driving it was a nice destination to get too to relax. The extra touches with the doggy beds were a great touch.

Great place for a getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this appartment in Curlewis. It was well located with great walking tracks and easy access to the beach. It was a clean and very comfortable place to stay and had everything we needed. Access was easy and our hosts were helpful but very mindful of privacy. Our dog was also very happy here. Lovely place.

Returned to a little gem

We have been back for another 2 night stay and enjoyed this beautiful accommodation as much as the first time. Luxurious linen and bath towels add the utmost comfort and the little patio now offers a little bistro setting for breakfast or a BBQ dinner outside. Even the neighbourhood is lovely to walk and with a view to the ocean we can only say that this is a beautiful find. Thanks for hosting Maree and Bill !

Clean, comfortable, quiet, close to beach

Beautiful accommodation. Every little need is thoughtfully met from the variety of milk & non dairy milk options in the fridge, a large hammock bed and soft futon for our dog and quality products throughout. We loved being able to let our dog off her lead outside knowing the yard was safely enclosed. Super clean, super comfortable, private and quiet. Maree and Bill have done a wonderful job providing lovely accommodation.
