  • Hace aproximadamente 2 años, convertimos nuestros establos y se ha terminado y equipado a un alto nivel que ofrece un excelente alojamiento para golfistas, familias y cualquier persona que busque un retiro tranquilo en el campo. Hay acceso al jardín del patio con su sensación mediterránea donde hay una tina caliente disponible para los huéspedes. También tenemos 15 acres de campos y bosques que los huéspedes pueden caminar o picnic en. St Andrews está a 10 minutos en coche y la estación de tren de Cupar con trenes directos a Edimburgo (1 hora), Dundee y Aberdeen está a 5 minutos en coche. La nueva V y A abre en Dundee el 15 de septiembre de 2018.
    St. Andrews, por supuesto, ofrece excelentes campos de golf, hermosas playas y maravillosos restaurantes, además de la histórica universidad. Si eran fanáticos de The Crown o Outlander, tendrán acceso a la Escocia que retratan a una hora en coche. Hay 3 dormitorios, 2 de los cuales tienen baño con bañera con patas y el otro con ducha y un tercer baño con acceso para personas de movilidad reducida. Todas las habitaciones tienen camas súper king que se pueden dividir en camas individuales si es necesario. Las camas cuentan con tops de colchón de lujo con ropa de cama White Company. También hay toallas y batas de baño de la Compañía Blanca. Hay toallas de playa para uso de jacuzzi. El salón principal es de planta abierta con una cocina bien equipada, mesa de comedor y sala de estar con televisión inteligente con caja de visualización gratuita. Hay acceso a internet.
    Hay acceso a un arco cerrado donde los huéspedes pueden disfrutar de bebidas o café con vistas al jardín del patio. La mayoría de nuestros huéspedes comentan que la cabaña es mucho más de lo que esperaban y cómo disfrutan del entorno tranquilo. También es popular porque está bien situado no solo para los campos de golf de St. Andrews sino también para Carnoustie y Gleneagles. Se puede alquilar junto con Hayshed Cottage por grupos más grandes.

Very accommodating host she worked with us on anything we needed. Beautiful countryside cottage very quiet but close enough to St Andrews and other sites of interest in the area. I would stay there again if I ever go back

Clean, Well-Located Property with Amiable Hosts

The property is well-situated and close to nearby golf courses and beaches. We would definitely return, in large part due to the family friendly and well-considered amenities provided to guests in the property and on the grounds.

It was a quiet and lovely setting on a farm and only 10 minutes drive to St Andrews. All was very comfortable and the host was very helpful - she lives next door on the property.

Comfortable stay with friends. Need a car ro get around the area but beautiful. Hot tub was great and everything you need to cook was privided. Beds really comfortable, would definitely stay again. Our host Susan was fabulous and so lovely.

Celebrating 60th birthday

The house was perfect for us. Lovely setting, comfortable beds, very clean throughout, hot tub great. Good location for visiting St Andrew’s. Susan was very helpful with any problems.

Fresh linens, soft beds and peaceful surroundings!

Convenient to all of Fife. Quiet, well kept, well-stocked property. Clean! The Courtyard and The Kettlebridge are nice restaurants fairly close by. Convenient to golf and groceries.

New Year Stay

We stayed 4 nights , the accommodation was excellent and just as described. The hot tub was enjoyed by the children, even in the inclement weather! Communication before and during our stay with Sue, the host was also excellent, and we were very appreciative of the board games she loaned for us to play with the children! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

Great location!

Sue was fantastic from start to finish. Really appreciated her being so available to help with things. The place has everything you need. The hot tub was fun, the sun even came out as we sat in it. The courtyard is a sun trap which helped on a windy day. We had a four year old with us and she loved the swings and soccer goal. Beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean. Would stay here again!

Very nice but not up to expectations.

Initially we had difficulty finding the address. Need better communication on that. Need better description of each room’s bathroom. We expected 3 en suite bedrooms. That was a disappointment.

Family Break in Cupar

Renting the property was very easy and communication with the owner Sue was really easy and received responses very quickly. The property was amazing, great accommodation, facilities and outdoor space. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The outdoor Courtyard has plenty of room and seating. Sue was a joy to meet and was so friendly and welcoming. Lovely place and will definitely stay again.

Girls weekend Away

This is a lovely cosy property and ideal for 6 adults. We had everything we needed and we were all very comfortable. The beds were amazing with lovely bed linen and good quality pillows. The hot tub was amazing and very easy to use. Fluffy bathrobes and pool towels supplied. Sue and Douglas were great hosts. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and would happily stay again,

Relaxing stay.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The property was extremely well decorated and comfortable. The hot tub was a real bonus, especially when the weather was not so good. We loved the courtyard setting with beautiful planting. Thanks to Sue for making us feel so welcome!

Relaxing Girls Weekend

Balass was perfect for our relaxing get away. Lovely property, beautifully decorated and with all the essentials provided (as well as little extras). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and dips in the HotTub. The location is fantastic, out in the countryside but close to Cupar and St Andrews for a wander. We received a warm welcome from our host.

Our 3 night stay at Balass Lodge

Superb property, everything of an extremely high quality. Beds very comfortable made up with gorgeous White Company linen. Added luxury of fluffy white bathrobes and towels specifically for hot tub use. Outside area lovely including table and chairs, hot tub and fire pit. All in all a fantastic stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this property.
