Expansive Retreat with Heated Pool & Gorgeous Views

This beautifully designed and spacious lake home is perfectly located close to I-65, grocery stores, restaurants, and boat ramps.

One of only 2 rentals on Smith Lake with a private lake side pool to lounge in by the lake, it is also fully loaded with everything needed for an unforgettable vacation including outdoor bar, grill, fire pit, fire table, pool table, kayaks, SUPs, 2 coffee bars, waffle bar, kids video game/tv space, and boundless deck space to enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

Bella Vista is located on one of the main arms of Smith Lake in Cullman. It is less than 10 minutes to I-65 and less than 10 minutes to gas stations, fast-food restaurants, bait shops, grocery stores, and a boat launch. This is a rare find on Smith Lake to be close to so many things but still have beautiful big water views.

There are decks expanding most of the whole first and second level to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evenings. The top decks has a fire pit table to gather around in the early evening while you witness the beautiful sunsets seen from Bella Vista.

Perhaps the best part of Bella Vista, is the private in-ground heated salt-water pool out back right on the lake. This is the only rental on Smith Lake with a private pool. If you don't want to take a dip in the lake or want to have somewhere for the kids to play and splash while grilling by the outdoor bar, you will love this amenity. Included are plenty of floats and toys as well as propane for the grill. Plenty of seating for all. The pool is only shut down from Nov 15th to March 8th as it is too cold for the heater on those days.

The location on the water is optimal for fishing, swimming, boating, and water sports. While the dock is on larger open water, there are also nearby peaceful and smaller arms of water or tributaries to explore on the 2 kayaks and SUP's provided.

The home has had extensive updates, and is fully loaded with everything necessary to make memories with friends and family. On the top floor, you will find an open living room, dining room, and kitchen with seating for everyone as well as the completely renovated master suite to include a soaking tub. Off the master bedroom, a separate daybed and desk can be found for a quiet read or cranking out some work.

On the lower floor, you'll find a pool table, ping pong table, arcade games and ample seating for everyone, making it an ideal gathering spot. There are plenty of board games and other surprises for entertainment. The lower floor also hosts two more king suites, each with private bathrooms, as well as another private bedroom with a queen-sized bed. For the kids, there's a special area designed for their enjoyment, complete with TV, Xbox One with games, books, crayons, bean bags, and a Nugget for fort-building fun. Sleeping arrangements include two sets of bunk beds and a queen bed to ensure comfort for adults as well.

Great location and amenities' with gorgeous views!

Our stay at Bella Vista was outstanding! The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed and more. The pool area was great and gave us the hang out space we were hoping for as a family and friend group. The property manager was extremely helpful and the views were outstanding from morning to night. Highly recommend!

Lakeside fun

Our family ages 2 to 66 had a wonderful week. The house was super clean. The owner was easy to contact and responded quickly to any questions. The owner has an app that is downloadable after the deposit is paid. It’s full of useful info. We loved it so much we have already rented for next year. The only negative is that there are a lot of steps down to the pool and the dock. The stairs did not bother us at all and are depicted in pictures.

Perfect family getaway!

We could not have found a better place to celebrate my husband’s birthday! There was so much to do for everyone with pool activities, lake fun, and reflection time on one of the many decks. The coffee and waffle bar were an added bonus. I would highly recommend this property.

Such a fun week

Fall break from Nashville couldn't have been better! We loved the place- it was so clean and very comfortable for 4 adults and a group of kids ages 13-17. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The bathrooms were new and clean. A lot of attention went into the details and we appreciated it so much! We can't thank you enough for such a great family weekend! The only con I can come up with was the cleanliness of the entire pool deck. It was old, filled with leaves - leaves piled in the pool, wet leaves in all the furniture, not usable area at all and truly an eyesore. We joked about "not looking down" from the balconies - only straight out at the beautiful lake.

Fun with family and friends

We had a blast!! The location is so convenient. Close to the Highway, grocery, and immediate care clinic. It was spacious with one thank you of room for 8 adults and 3 kids. The kids loved the bunk room and tv setup. All of the beds were comfortable and it was a wonderful and relaxing trip for all. We were able to use the boathouse to dock our boat and there was room to park the truck and trailer along the side of the driveway although we had to back all the way down the road to get it in. Enjoyed all the amenities! Up to date and working. Very clean! Wash room was nice and big. Only suggestion would be a commercial ice maker. The owner was very nice and answered all of my questions promptly.

Beautiful Home on Smith Lake near I-65

Our family of 14 enjoyed our time at this beautiful home on Smith Lake. It is conveniently located near I-65 and Cullman, AL. The home was well equipped and particularly very well stocked and suited for our family. Much attention to detail was given by the owners. Our children and grandchildren especially enjoyed the waffle and pancake bar complete with the recipes for the mixes as well as a variety of toppings and syrups. We also enjoyed S’mores at the fire pit which had been set up in advance. Views of the lake from the house were plentiful and beautiful. The pool overlooking the lake was clean and and complete with ample outdoor furniture. There were plenty of inflatable toys and rafts for our grandchildren. We really enjoyed the boathouse and dock. We rented a Tritoon boat and jet ski for a couple of days and they were we’ll accommodated. We also enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards at the dock. This is a wonderful property and I highly recommend it.

Perfect Mother’s Day Weekend

The house is extremely spacious and super clean; updated throughout. The views from every room are spectacular and so very peaceful. The kayaks and paddle boards were a big hit. The pool was very clean and enjoyable. The host was extremely generous and responded to each text almost immediately. Our family really enjoyed our stay at this amazing place and we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others.

Gorgeous Lakefront Paradise!!

Words can never begin to describe the absolute breathtaking beauty of this beautiful lakefront paradise! The pictures are lovely but the real thing is stunning! Every detail of this home has been so thoughtfully planned out so that once you enter and are facing the glorious lake on all three levels, you won’t want to leave, nor will you have to! The gorgeous updated kitchen has everything you could need and want to cook up the most fabulous meals, including an upstairs and downstairs coffee bar that is stocked with Keurig cups, coffee creamers, lovely coffee mugs! There is a wonderful waffle bar with fabulous syrup selections and toppings along with the mix and two size waffle makers! AWESOME!!! A beautiful basket was filled with s’mores fixings to be enjoyed at the outdoor firepit!The lakeview is right before your eyes in four of the five bedrooms with gorgeous balconies in three of the bedrooms!!! Each level of this beautiful home has amazing balcony access and wonderful furniture along with the top level outdoor fire table! There is a beautiful pool, that at this time, did have a covering over it as the temperature was cool, but the pool area has wonderful lounge seating and beautiful lake viewing as well as a wonderful gas grill and outdoor counter seating as well as an outdoor bathroom poolside! So much enjoyment was had by all with the kayaks and the fishing at the beautiful dock! The orange sunsets were a memory never to be forgotten!!! There is truly no better host that I have had the honor and pleasure to work with than Brandon! This gentleman responded almost immediately to any request and was indeed so kind, professional and accommodating in every way! The accolades for Brandon and his loved lake home are well deserved and greatly appreciated! On behalf of my family and myself, thank you so very much! Look no further than this lovely lake paradise less than 5 miles off the Interstate exit! EXCELLENT!!! We hope to visit again soon!!! With sincere gratitude, Elisa

I can’t say enough about the property. We’ve stayed in many properties on Smith Lake and this one tops my list. It met all my expectations and more. The special touches throughout the property (which also included a Christmas tree) validate that the host’s priority is a superb guest experience. We celebrated a wonderful family Christmas at this beautiful home.

Wonderful Vacation Home!

Everything was GREAT, except we had issues with the swimming pool. It was dark green when we arrived. The owner was Wonderful in responding to our concerns and responded promptly to our needs. Will DEFINITELY stay here again.
