Cozy getaway on large private lot with miles of water!

Big Private lot on canal, that connects with the Hernando lakes. One bedroom 5th wheel with pull out couch has all the amenities. King size bed with couch sleeps 3 people. 4 miles from historic downtown Inverness, which has plenty of lakes and bike trail, restaurants and shopping. 30 minutes to the Gulf of Mexico and 1 1/2 hr to Orlando and Tampa. This area is the tranquil old Florida away from the hustle and bustle. Free use of our kayaks or bring your own boat. Come and relax and enjoy life with us!

The accommodations were as expected. We have a RV so were accustom to how all works. We were only disappointed that no water in the canel , so no kayaking. All went well, host was prompt with replies and greeting when we arrived.

Not As Expected

Cons First -This is an older camper which is in need of a deep cleaning. The unit is located in a depressed area with a very pot-holed road. Cell reception was poor.Pros - We encountered three different issues during our stay, but the owner was very quick to respond.

RV was great!!

We loved our experience at the RV. The host next door was very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed how close the RV was to the springs and air boat tours. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the hawks in the trees. We would definitely rent again and have thought about returning since we had left.

Good Value

Good value for the money. Owner was very nice, and place has everything you need and is quiet. If you have stayed in RVs before you will like it. Only feedback I would provide for the owner to look at is the refrigerator did not get really cold on the highest setting. Other than that, I would surely stay there again.

Relaxing quiet place to stay. Many things to do if you wish. This was the 3rd time we stayed there. My wife and I both really enjoy being there. Looking forward to another stay again

5th wheel

Host was very friendly. It was what I would expect from a 5th wheel camper. If you primarily need a place to lay your head after wandering around town, you can't go wrong. The waterfront was pleasant, and the camper was shaded, so inside temperature comfortable.

First Foray into Vrbo

This was my first time using VRBO and it was a great adventure. I stayed in a rural community in Northern Florida that included a river view. My accommodation was a very comfortable RV —I had never been in one before. I felt very much at home and the owners were hospitable friendly people who ensured I had a good experience. I would highly recommend them.

Pros- wonderful owners nearby that were kind and attentive. Liked being on a canal in a rural area to watch birds, saw a small alligator. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Comfortable bed and everything needed for a 2 week stay. Cons- camper starting to show some age. Recliner with broken handle, rusty areas noted in bathroom,patio table,grill. Shower head and floor around shower could use a deep clean.

Just what I was looking for!

Property was a bit far from town but for me that was excellent. Away from the bustle and commotion. Peaceful and quiet, sounds of nature. Two cranes were the loudest creatures around. Stayed 4 nights and couldn't ask for a more quiet and I’ll say somewhat isolated area. Town and commerce within 10-15 minutes. Really enjoyed my stay! Host was friendly and accommodating. Recommend and would stay again.

Very clean, great quiet location, Ted is very nice, minutes from town. Unfortunately we were there on business and didn't get to spend time at this peaceful location. Hoping to go back on our own time.

Peaceful Retreat

My host was friendly and helpful. Yhe property was peaceful and the camper was clean and surprisingly spacious! I really enjoyed the use of the host's kayak to explore the many waterways on the property. I will definitely be back!
