20th Anniversary Getaway

As soon as we pulled up to “The Cove” we felt at peace. It was perfectly secluded and quiet, minus the peacocks, haha! We took full advantage of the porch and the kayaks, the two specific reasons we booked at this location. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits from the local peacocks and turkey. The fish kept us entertained as we watched them jump out of the water, haha!We had to wash every dish, piece of silverware and cookware we used. Whomever is in charge of the housekeeping missed some very dirty dishes. Also, the outdoor space was unkept. Off to the side of the house we saw a liquor bottle, a large tatted teddy bear and some other trash. I would recommend cleaning that up. The space under the stairs could also use a clean up.Overall our stay was wonderful! We will consider booking “The Cove” again with our children the next time.P.S. Anyone staying at this location or the surrounding area needs to check out Cattle Dog Coffee! It was the best coffee we found locally!

Great property with one issue

Almost everything about our stay was amazing. The property, the check in process, and the communication with our property representative were all outstanding. We experienced an issue with the trash situation, but our representative was beyond attentive to our concerns and made recommendations to the owner to solve the problem for future stays.

Beautiful Ozello, house is great. Modern touches in an old Florida atmosphere. Our family really enjoyed our long weekend there.

Hidden Bungalow buried in nature with minimal amenities.

Small bungalow sits on heavily wooded lot with great baywater view. Decorated in fun retro 50s style. 2 baths recently remodeled with rainshower. Super WiFi. Problems: Missing lightbulbs. Smart thermostat constantly defaulting to 62°. Freezer icemaker broken. Bagged ice was provided instead. Dining utensils not clean. No napkins, no clips to close food bags, no plastic wrap, no aluminum foil or plastic ziplock bags. Fluffy towels but only 1 washcloth per bathroom per entire stay. The bungalow provided a fun getaway for our group of 4 nature loving adults.

Very first guests

We had the luck to find this lovely place and be the first guests to book! We enjoyed the calm relaxed area. Everything available was top notch. The coffee, tea, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, towels, linen's were all A++. The birding was amazing, White Ibis, King Fishers, Osprey, Bald Eagles, Black Vultures, Fly Catchers, not to mention the beautiful and vocal neighborhood Peacock pair!! (we had a pair when we were newly weds 33 years ago! Loved having them... The host had the missing propane delivered and they set up the brand new Weber new grill for us! Super nice crew! We had a blast Kayaking the area. Made some suggestions to the host of additional items that would make the stay even better.
