"They charge your card for the stay as you check in, then when you check out they charge you again before that pending charge falls off. And then they charge a completely different amount after the "release" the deposit. 2 seperate stays this process has thrown my account into the negative."

"The morning breakfast was good with much variety. The pool was also a nice asset and well kept. However, there was a major failure that makes this property barely a two star. I stayed five nights and it wasn't until the fourth night that I returned to a clean room. For the first three days, both trashcans remained full, there was no soap in the shower, the bed was not made, the floor was not vacuumed and a handle in the shower was loose. At best, two stars."

"We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Hotel Melby Downtown Melbourne, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. From the moment we arrived, the hotel had a welcoming atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and a great location for enjoying downtown Melbourne.
What really stood out was the exceptional customer service, especially from Monica. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Her friendly attitude, attention to detail, and genuine willingness to help made our stay even more...

"Stayed here for one night. Property is clean. The parking lot has a nasty smell though that needs to be taken care of.
Front desk people are sweet.
Breakfast needs tremendous work. There was just a bunch of bread and bagels, coffee and some juices. No waffles or eggs. I took one look, and then went back to bed.
Also, there was a cockroach in the apartment, so I recommend some pest control."

"Room was nice but walls too thin, could hear every voice and footsteps in the hallway. Not enough options for breakfast and couldn't check in a minute early before 3pm. Although it is pet friendly they need to clean the rooms better of odor in-between stays or keep pets always in the same rooms because mine smelled like a wet dog and it was very strong for the whole first day. Would not recommend for how expensive it was but all in all it was ok."
