"Beautiful home! We truly enjoyed our short stay here while passing through Inverness. Very clean, comfortable bed, easy access to the downtown area, and our host was super helpful in directing us where to go for a late meal when we arrived later evening:) They really do make you feel right at home, and hands down best breakfast we had on our trip! They go over and above. Thank you for sharing your lovely home! "

"We stayed for two nights October 2024., everything was absolutely perfect. Pinewood Cottage is beautiful, rooms are spacious comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious. "

"Kenny & Dorothy keep the place immaculate. The rooms are very well appointed and the breakfast is fab. Easy 10-15 minute walk into town. Decent parking available too. "

"The hotel is well located in walking distance of the city centre and some nice places to eat. The rooms are small and comparatively expensive but this is the UK where everything is over-priced. The restaurant is nice and the staff super helpful- they made sure I was able to use a large, thickly carpeted room to do a 90 minute yoga session uninterrupted. "

"Carpets were dirty sofa was broke mand leather peeling and the fact shower and toilet area were dirty my girlfriend had to bleach and clean en suite due to pubic hair and glass being dirty in current pandemic pretty poor "

"Excellent faultless service and amazing food. Nothing too much trouble. Reasonable price for top class hotel. Beautiful grounds to walk in and not far from the east coast, Black Isle and Beauly where we wanted to visit. Definitely will return. "

"Yes, the hotel is a little dated but it is clean and comfortable. The room we were in needs some refreshing but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth staying. Meals in the restaurant/pub were very delicious. It is about half hour from Inverness but that means the area is very quiet. The hotel overlooks the bay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. "

"We had a delightful stay at Cawdor House, thanks in large part to the fabulous couple who own and run it. Their warmth and hospitality truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room we stayed in was small but pleasant and well-kept. "Cute B&B. Couldn't get hold of staff after we had spoken earlier in the day and they had confirmed they would still be on site when we arrived, a couple staying there had pity on us and helped us call the staff, etc. We ended returningthe favor to another late group. Room was nice, clean, and spacious. Small restaurant /bar eas nice."

"What a wonderful hotel - despite my stay being very short I was made to feel very welcomed and comfortable. Rooms here are very spacious and clean. Breakfast was very very good! I didn’t manage to go into the spa but this looked very pleasant. Hotel is quiet and peaceful and right next to the golf clubs and sea views "

"The staff, room and hotel was very nice. But I have to say the prices for a hotel in the Highlands was London prices. Also we took breakfast with the room and when we checked out, and I checked the bill, they charged for herbal tea, this was never explained to us. The lady at the reception took this charge off. "

"Property was very well located along the Ness River. It is very quaint with a steep staircase. Only take an overnight bag inside! Unfortunately the view from our room was ugly - lots of black plastic out there - which was disappointing."
