Having a 3-year-old and 7-year-old with us the ease of them being able to go outside and play and know that they were safe was amazing! "My partner and I hoped for a peaceful getaway to hike and chose this place. As soon as we drove in, it seemed like nothing we’d quite seen. It’s walled like a park with an expansive front yard area, but it’s private. There are really cute old buildings. It was like we had the place to ourselves. "What a wonderfull little place. It was just perfect. Private, quiet, just perfect. It was a birders paradise. There are trails to walk through the woods. Would definitely be great place in the fall or spring to see the bird migration. We got engaged on our last day before leaving out on the pier. It was perfect.
