"The best place to stay if you are visiting Edinburgh. The rooms are great, the location is so close to everything you want to see and no need for a cab, but the most important part is how wonderful the staff is. They are kind and helpful and they were so understanding when we needed some extra TLC when my husband got very sick very unexpectedly during this part of our trip. Also they serve a an amazing breakfast."

"I just love staying here! It’s the second time I’ve stayed at the Thistle Suites / Royal Garden Apartments and I have to say: staff at the front desk is just amazing. They’re friendly, welcoming and so helpful every time. The location is very convenient and you get everything you need in a few minutes walk. Plus, you can totally tell they’ve remodeled it AND coffee in the lobby was outstanding! This is totally worth the price. Book it. Thanks for a great stay, ladies, see you soon!"

"This is a great little find. Perfect for a family who doesnt want to be on top of one another in a hotel. It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. It was a great find for the pinch we were in when the trains were shut down and we didnt have a place to stay."
