Elevated Mountain Views on Waenga

Spacious and private living on an elevated section. The home has been renovated throughout for you to enjoy. A modern and well designed kitchen creates the centre stage for the rest of the home. Open plan living allows you to enjoy the views from the dining and living spaces and the conservatory creates an additional getaway to be enjoyed by the whole family. Your family will be warm in winter with the help of a wood burner and heat pump. With four double bedrooms, a brand-new bathroom with underfloor heating, separate laundry and toilet this home has been renovated with family in mind and there is plenty of space for everyone. The fourth bedroom is located downstairs with its own access which could be ideal for a young adult. The fully fenced yard includes decking and patio areas for outdoor entertainment and privacy and a great spot to soak up the sun or enjoy the views out to the Pisa Ranges. There is plenty of off-street parking.

I loved how the property is very exchangeable to how many people you are having. The equipment was very well designed and maintained. The house was very cozy, view was totally worth it. It is 40 mins outside of Queentown, but the traffic is great. Cormwell has a lot of stores and groceries. The hostess is amazing, communicated exceptionally well.

We found the place beautiful. Plenty of room for the 10 of us.As you can see below, to get up to the house for someone in a wheelchair, it wasn’t ideal. The ramp was potentially dangerous because it was so steep. It took my son pushing, and my husband to pull me and my chair up by rope that we purchased.To get down was equally dangerous to get me back down. Once at the top, I was able to hold the fence and a hand to get up the steps.Once inside, I was fine. The view was lovely with plenty of room for the kids to run around.

Suited our needs for the time of year. Stayed as a group of 4 adults and 3 (younger) children. The property was well kept and a reasonable price for our stay. The outdoor area was a great asset in the summer. Would not have wanted to be any larger a group. Single bathroom was a bit challenging and if the weather had not been good we would have been unable to eat as a group, as the dining table only sits 6. Also only provided with 1 set of keys to the property. Took us some time to find the 4th bedroom (pink bedding, with double bed, single with additional pull out), as this was located next to the garage, completely separate to the property. More of a ‘sleep out’ than 4th bedroom. We did not use this and not at all appropriate for a family, as no immediate access to house or a bathroom/toilet. Might suit some people. Overall had a good stay and would recommend for a larger family, but probably not for a large number of adults.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The house was spotless, warm, and very comfortable, perfect for our whānau. It had everything we needed and more, from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy living spaces where we could all relax together. The location was fantastic, close to the lake, shops yet still peaceful and quiet.Our kids loved having plenty of space to play, and we enjoyed the little touches that made the house feel welcoming. Waking up to the stunning scenery each morning was a real highlight too.We would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Cromwell.
