I appreciated the little touches like towels to wipe their feet and covers for the furniture to keep their hair off. The view is incredible and we loved the dock and the beach! "Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! I got such refreshing, restful sleep every night in this absolutely quiet, tiny (but airy) playhouse of a cottage, thanks to the super cozy and comfy bed! It was all just so sweet—even if, as I did, you just want to hang out and read as you listen to the rain all day. Grand Marais is only eighteen minutes...

"Our stay at this private end condo at Terrace Point was exquisite and just as described! The place is nestled on a gorgeous cove on Lake Superior and is charming, clean, and quiet! Just what we wanted. It is just a few minutes outside of town, so very private indeed, And close to many beautiful sites, like waterfalls and mountainous panoramic views, hiking trails, and waterfalls. We enjoyed all of it, along with spending several days in town and a day along Gunflint Trail. But you don't have to...

"I took my girlfriend there for weekend retreat exploring the nearby waterfalls and border. All within a short drive. The cabin is very cute, cozy, and peaceful. Gorgeous night skies. The only negative i can think of was the driveway. Extremely steep. Must have all wheel drive or 4x4. But, to be fair it does mention that in the description. "

"It's a really cool spot back in the woods but close to a lot of parks and Grand Marais. The roads are gravel, but pretty well graded. It has good power and lots of cozy additions like throw blankets, nice chairs, a great fire pit, and a really cool upper deck to have breakfast on. We didn't use the grill, but there is one there.The sauna is pretty nice. It's close to the house, but far enough away that you have privacy while sharing it with the other cabin.
