Located in downtown Crested Butte, this pet-friendly townhome is only two houses from the park, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits and softball field . It's a pleasant 5 minute walk to the heart of historic downtown Crested Butte with shops, galleries and restaurants and just two blocks away is the free ski bus stop. Be sure to check out the Center for the Arts’ Alpenglow, a free outdoor concert series on Monday evenings during the summer, located only one block from the house. The house has two bedrooms and one full bathroom located on the first level plus a washer dryer closet. Both bedrooms have queen beds. The second floor has an open plan with the kitchen, dining, and living area where you can relax and enjoy the large back deck overlooking the yard. The second half bathroom is also located on the second level. There is a queen sized sofa bed in the living room for additional guests.
The kitchen being located on the second floor allows the cook to still be part of all the fun while enjoying the scenery. Kitchen equipped with refrigerators, 2 freezer drawers for optimum counter space, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, garbage disposal and all cookware & dinnerware. Windows surround the upstairs living/dinning area and kitchen keeping it bright and sunny. Amenities include television with Amazon firestick, board games and wi-fi. The bathroom is stocked with plush bath towels, hair dryer and extra toiletries available. Relax on the porch with a beverage or prepare dinner on the gas grill while enjoying the backyard and the many Humming birds that often visit the house for a sip from the feeder. The duplex's shared backyard is fenced and nicely landscaped with flowers and mature aspen trees, as well as a flagstone walkway & patio seating area. The large grassy area is perfect for our four-legged visitors. There is a gravel driveway as well as parking in front of the house, although a vehicle is unnecessary since everything in town is within walking distance and the shuttle (two blocks from house) will take you up to the Mt. Crested Butte base area.

Early Spring Getaway

One of our go-to stays in CB!

Great spot located a couple min walk from the free shuttle and another minute or two to the main downtown area. We’ve actually stayed in both units and have no complaints for either. This unit has a slightly bigger living area up stairs. Easily fit me, my wife, our 1 year old, and two Bernese mountain dogs. We’ve also stayed in the other unit with another couple and had plenty of space. Highly recommend!

Cute Condo

Our group of 4 adults stayed here for a ski trip. Off-street parking was perfect as we rode the free town bus or walked everywhere the whole trip. The condo is a little small but completely serviceable when you really only lounge upstairs and sleep. Two members of our group cooked a few meals and were able to find everything they needed in the kitchen. We lucked out and hit a sunny stretch and the upstairs living area was really nice drenched in sun. The deck is large and would be lovely in warmer weather.

Terrific Base for a Crested Butte Adventure

A great stay. Very quiet and conveniently located - no more than a 5 minute walk from Elk Avenue - Crested Butte's main thoroughfare of shops and restaurants. The stop to take you up to the ski resort is even closer. We had a blast here, even though we were socked in by snow for most of our trip. A terrific stay for our family.

Ski Trip Crested Butte

Owner was very nice and accomodating. The home is in a quiet , nice neighborhood, only 1-1/2 blocks to Transit Center an easy walk with skis and boots to catch the Town Ski Bus Shuttle to the Resort. The town is so quaint and pretty with all the Christmas lights and lots of snow - it was fun to walk to the downtown for dinner.

Great place to stay!

We stayed here for a few nights with our young children (5 year olds) and had a great time! This rental is in a great location- short walk to Elk Avenue and easy access to all other things Crested Butte, and the local grocery store is also nearby. For the kids, there are 2 different playgrounds super close by (one just a street over from this rental), and the CB children’s museum is only about a 5-10 min walk from the house. This unit is well appointed with all the essentials plus fun extras like games (for kids and adults), some books, adult townie bikes, etc. We also enjoyed the firepit and the host provided plenty of wood. The host was very responsive and helpful from the time of booking to the end of our stay, she even helped us find a reliable local sitter. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to book again!

Wonderful experience wonderful in Crested Butte

We got away from the August heat in Tulsa and stayed the entire month. It was lovely, the house was great, all amenities were there, everything we needed, walking distance to so many great restaurants and shops. Thanks for a beautiful month in the mountains!

Comfortable 2-floor Condo with Great Deck and Backyard

This is a well maintained unit on the south side of Sopris that faces a peaceful backyard. It has a nice deck off of the second floor on which it is perfect to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. 2 bedrooms and bathroom with shower are on the first floor. Greatroom is the entire second floor plus a small 1/2 bathroom. Everything you need to be comfortable is here. Also, it is in a great location; away from all of the traffic in town but a quick walk to everything. (Note: unit does not have a dishwasher.)

Great, easy place. No complaints!

Great location in town- an easy walk to Elk St and to the park. We appreciated all the stocked necessities at the house- coffee, spices, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. etc. Great backyard for dogs. No complaints!

Glad we got the back half of duplex

Location was great, near park and edge of town where there’s a multi use path with stunning views. Even though this is a duplex, we never heard our neighbors unless their dogs were on the deck barking at something. We got the back unit, facing the yard, nice view and easy to see if the other party was using the yard. It’s shared and our dogs aren’t good with other dogs, so it was easy to know if we could take them out there. House that faced the condo had a lot of teenagers who played outside until about 11pm. But when we closed the windows, we could barely hear them. Bedrooms are small and dark. Soft mattress had some divots. Living area is upstairs and the stairs are narrow, a bit hard for our dogs to navigate, maybe because the wood steps made it hard for them to see which line was the edge of the step. So we held their collar/harness to keep them from falling. Used the child gate from the bedroom to keep them from going up or down unescorted. You’d want to do the same if you have small children. The place is small, fine for a couple. Bathrooms are also small with very little space to store your stuff. The pull out sofa seats have lost some of their cushioning.

Stellar location and comfy home

We stayed here for our wedding week in CB and had the best time staying here. A great open floor plan upstairs allows for easy chatting with friends and other guests. It was a comfy spot and super centrally located. It has lots of light to enjoy a nice summer day with a cool breeze. The cooking amenities were perfect too. The backyard was great for taking out our pup or hosting a wedding rehearsal. Very clean and would 10000% stay here again!

Lovely Visit

It was a super cute spot! We enjoyed the using the bikes to get around town. Sitting on the deck and in the yard were delightful. There was lots to work with in the kitchen. It was a great stay!

Super place for a ski vacation with apre fun nearby

We loved this location and lodging- very comfortable, well stocked, bus to mtn nearby and close walk to town. Erin was in touch whenever we needed her. Will definitely be back. And our adult children might even reserve it without us. Thanks!

Great place to stay in CB

Very nice property, loved the location in a residential part of town close to the center. Listing is accurate, other reviews seem reliable to me, no shortcuts taken, clear instructions, responsive host. Super dog friendly, with a fenced yard (a lot of snow when we were there) and a balcony (which our dog loved).
