"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"Fabulous well-located property. Very convenient for exploring Deeside. The large eat-in kitchen had everything we needed to cook and gather together. Plenty private spaces for spreading out and enjoying a little peace and quiet, too. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms had everything we needed. Communication with Anna was perfect throughout. Highly recommend!"

"Just wow! We spent a magical two weeks at Ballentober. The staff were quick to answer questions and to help out when needed. The cottage is exactly as advertised and as beautiful as you are probably imagining. We were so sad to leave and hope to be back again soon! "

"This is a very well equipped, spacious property which was real pleasure to stay in. The garden is well maintained with good outside seating and a BBQ. It is centrally located in Ballater so easy to visit shops and restaurants on foot, close to the golf course and local walks in easy reach. Mark, the host was very welcoming and promptly answered queries. We would stay here again. Great place."
