Went directly to front desk to fix as soon as got to the room. Took a while to fix that with no apology. Got a new room. Some staff friendly and some not. First thing that strikes you is the stains on the carpet and dirty hallways that need cleaning. Room didn't have enough towels for 2 people. They did give us one extra...

This would have been a 5*, but unfortunately we got the attic room, which involved MANY stairs up. Given my mother's age and mobility, this negatively impacted the enjoyment of our stay. If stairs matter, proactively ask about which room you are getting before you book."

Public transport is outside. There are several good quality local cafes and shops nearby. Room is fresh, with a fridge and shower that work perfectly.
