"Staff are great and helpful. Our room, on the second floor, was too far away to get internet to make the smart tv function. Our room was quite noisy facing the road and the railway. Other than those small gripes it’s a lovely friendly place with a good breakfast. The staff did all they could to fix the TV problems. "

"Nice hotel. If you want a tv you need to have a room on the second floor but who needs a tv nowadays when there is WiFi. Very comfortable bed and lovely big bathroom."

"Was in Garden room excellent for us and our dog. Staff were very friendly and helpful service was excellent. Had dinner at restaurant and impressed with the food A great place for a short break "

"Second stay at the Cairn, and it's all around delightful. The food is excellent, the decoration, and you have the village pub right under the same roof! We had a blast at the Friday evening live music and enjoyed exploring around the area. Can't wait to go back."

"Easy to check in. Access was via a door code that you get sent on the morning of your stay, so you could come and go as you please. Easy to park right outside the door. Amazing location for access to the centre of Aviemore. Everything was in walking distance. Nice room with a kitchenette. The only issue was the noise from some of the other rooms. I'm not sure if the walls are thin or we were just unlucky with noisy neighbours! I would still stay again though! "

"Clean, comfortable and warm, easy access to Cairngorm mountain / ski centre, Loch Morlich, Reindeer Centre and Loch Uaine (Green Loch). Food menu in bar a little limited (Burgers etc.) but has other eateries. Only negative is the walls are thin so can hear people in next rooms but the staff were very quick to act"

"The Morlich was closed for the night I booked, stayed in a different hotel on the complex. Room clean and tidy. Didn’t use the dining facilities, breakfast at £25 a head too expensive even though I can claim it back."

"Breakfast choice and service not great. Receptionist not interested in explaining hotel facilities or how to get to room. Lockers malfunctioning in pool. No staff available at one of the restaurants when we tried to visit. "

"Our stay was fabulous, beautiful country house very clean and very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast and the hosts are fabulous. Homemade shortbread in room so good with tea and coffee facilities. "

"Wonderful hosts - Graham and Sheena are extremely focused on making everyone’s stay memorable. The beds are extremely comfy too! Beautifully kept carriage house in a central spot to visit many gems in the area. Was a very relaxing enjoyable stay! "
