  • Unique cottage nestled in the woods located along the Bourbon Trail. Featured on HGTV's OFFBEAT AMERICA for its design. Season 3, Episode 12. It is the perfect place to stay and enjoy the Bourbon Trail or the miles of nature trails in Bernheim Forest.

    8 minutes to Jim Beam Distillery, 8 minutes to Bernheim Forest, 4 minutes to Four Roses Bourbon Warehouse and Bottling Tour, 12 minutes to the City of Bardstown, 30 minutes to Churchill Downs

    NO Smoking or Vaping.
    NO PETS.
    No animals of any kind are permitted on the property. Due to the host’s family being severely allergic to animal hair and dander, the listing is strictly allergy-free. There are no exceptions to this rule, as any animal on the property poses a severe health hazard to the host’s family. If an animal is brought onto the property, you will not be permitted to check in. In addition, your reservation will be canceled and a cleaning fee will be imposed. The home is unique but very nice. Everything you need and more is there to make your stay memorable; even bug spray for sitting on the porch at night in the rocking chair. Although off a main road it is tucked back and very private and quiet. Host offered great places to eat at and visit.

This little gem in the woods was a great place to stay. It was perfect for two, it was close to the things we wanted to see and it is located close to Bartstown with many great places to eat. Our Hosts were easy to reach if you had questions. The cabin was clean and organized and we would recommend a stay there for anyone.

Comfortable little cabin in the woods. Was very conveniently located to the Jim Beam distillery as well as Bernheim Forest which were areas that we were excited to visit. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. It has a unique and rustic charm which was one of the reasons why we booked it in the first place. It certainly was a uniquely built cabin and unlike any place we have stayed before.

I've stayed in this cabin before, mostly a weekend get away and it's awesome. The shower head isn't a low flow, feels like 20 gallons a second. The shower is amazing, the peace is amazing. Love this cabin!!!

Everything here was very well done. A perfect place for a couples get away. Super clean and really liked the layout.This will be our go-to when visiting Bardstown!

This was a nice private and peaceful place to stay. I appreciate the creativity and out of the box thinking that went into this structure. My wife and I especially enjoyed the unique fireplace since outside temps were quite chilly during our visit. The hosts were very responsive, nice, and accommodating. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing setting to get away to this is great.

Impeccably clean place with really interesting architecture. The location is beautiful, while also being convenient to lots of things. Check-in and check-out were both extraordinarily easy. One of our best VRBO experiences to date.

Really enjoyed the cabin and Bardstown. We had a great time and hope to stay in the cabin again!

It was a great experience! The cabin was just the right size for the two of us and close enough to Bardstown to take in the sights! Really enjoyed it and will pass this on to anyone looking to stay in the area!
