"We enjoyed our stay at this historic property within walking distance to downtown New Bern. The features and historic quirks made the house extra special. It was clean and cozy. While we didn't bring our pet, the home is pet friendly, as advertised. The couch provided an additional firm sleeping option in addition to the 2 upstairs bedrooms; instead of a bed pulling up from the sofa, you folded out additional cushions and slept directly on the sofa. "Quiet, clean, pet friendly cottage tucked away in country landscape within minutes of downtown. We enjoyed our stay. Encountered a couple of small glitches during our stay, but David addressed our concerns in a very timely manner. We will definitely consider staying here again!"
