"JADS Guesthouse was the perfect place for us to stay. The place has so much charm and the staff was super friendly. The breakfast was perfect. Also, what is better than a day of hiking and then some time in their beautiful pool in the amazing yard with mountain views. The place is very friendly for any type of traveler; solo, couples, small groups and great for families. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend."

"Casa da Fonte is nestled in one of the sweetest villages within Gerês. This place was a good value for price. However, we had major issues with check in. We sent inquiries about check in days before and received no response. We didn’t get our check in information until after the check in time, forcing us to sit in a fierce, cold rain storm. The place smelled like cigarettes and the host is not on site/wasn’t responsive. However, we may have been a one off. Everybody has a bad day and we hope...

"Hotel extremely understaffed and overrated, Reception seldom has somebody to support guests, restaurant also incredibly understaffed. Employees are helpful but clearly not enough, when staff cut to the bone service becomes mediocre. This is what focus on cost cutting by hotel owners looks like, cost cutting through minimum staffing is their priority. Very disappointing, not in line with a 4-star hotel."

"Stunning property that satisfied all our needs and more! Our family of 5 was visiting Porto and decided to do an impromptu weekend away from the city. We booked this gorgeous house knowing nothing about the area with the idea of using it as a home base to explore the park. We ended up loving the pool and setting so much we ended up spending most of our time relaxing at the house! The owners were very responsive whenever we had questions. The pictures do not do the house justice - it is...
