This is an expensive area and so expect prices to reflect this, that said you get what you pay for - the Cotswolds is a busy, but stunning location. We will definitely be returning. "My family and I stayed overnight following a visit to The Farmer’s Dog. Situated in a pretty quiet village. We received a warm welcome from the owner. Our room was very clean. Ideal as on the ground floor and was able to access room in my wheelchair. A little tight getting past the bed to the bathroom but managed it. Lovely big bathroom for a wheelchair user and a walk in shower. Being able to park so close to the room was ideal. Unfortunately due to kitchen renovations there was no evening...

"My wife and I stayed for 1 night during our week off for our anniversary. Lovely staff, romantic 4 poster room in a 400 year old building that is kept very well. Everything very clean, small (cute) bar with a good selection of Hawkstone ale and cider. We shared a pizza which was really good, probably one of the best ive had actually and enjoyed drinks in the courtyard garden in the sun. Would definitely stay again!"

"We had an excellent experience in this hotel. It was the first time we visited this hotel. Located a bit away from the city centre, the hotel's deco, ambience and service were comparable to a 5-star hotel. We were particularly impressed by the service of Ali, proactive, considerate and detailed to meet our needs, even the unspoken. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and found them enjoyable. "
