"Absolutely one of my favorite places ...may be my top fav! Third time for us here....as I said in guest book it is just a classic beauty. Timeless. So quiet..private..just beautiful. "Home was clean, views are beautiful and a relatively quiet neighborhood. I would say the photos make it look as if it is on a very private piece of land, however homes all around and busy road next to it (during hunting season). Easy access to Salida and restaurants and activities. We did have a challenge getting the home warm enough in early November, and would suggest a new mattress in the master as we had to use another room as it was not comfortable. "Entry to the room meant walking thru a wide 1/2 grass 1/2 mud backyard in the dark due to our 8 pm arrival! This meant of course, carrying a large suitcase rather than being able to use the wheels. For this reason, I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it "
