"The Bunk House is very quaint and peaceful…just what we wanted. It has everything we needed. It’s not far from town. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. There’s a little path that you can walk down to the river too. Highly recommend staying at the Bunk House if you are in Cañon City. Loved chatting with Shari, she is so sweet."

"Step out the door and you are in the middle of it all. Turn right and head toward S Mountain (awesome trails for hiking or biking), the Arkansas River (watch the rafters and surfers then take a stroll along the path, awesome shopping and restaurants. Turn immediately left for coffee and yoga!!! There is a Natural Grocer right across the street- so handy!The condo was small but well appointed. Our only complaint was not being warned about the stairs to the loft bedroom. The stairs were steep,...

"Location was very convenient to plenty of daily activates. Start the morning fishing in the back yard with ample room to practice your fly casting and catch fish. 30 mins or less a variety of hiking trails or other fishing locations. Raft trips are next door or drive 15 mins up river and drop in at Buena Vista and float back to the house in 30 mins. Lots of outdoor room to just relax and watch the river and birds on the back deck. We will be back."

The drive up the 9,000ft square mountain has an amazing view of varieties pines trees, beautiful landscaping and all the cabin away from each other in a distance. If your looking for a very quiet peaceful place to get away, I would highly recommend it.! The view as the sunrise to dawn is amazing. Have to see it to believe it. "

"I brought my parents and 2 older sons for a getaway in the mountains. Everything was PERFECT. Excellent location, beautiful property and the host is an exceptional communicator. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain retreat. "
