River Falls Bungalow is the perfect Smokies destination for couples and families of 4 or less. Only 7 minutes to the Cosby Entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! The Bungalow is real log cabin nestled in a private, secluded setting in Cosby, Tennessee alongside Cosby Creek, a blue ribbon trout stream. The stream is over 60 feet wide. Those fly-fishing husbands will LOVE it!

Guests will enjoy the beautiful, tranquil grounds surrounding the cabin as well. River Falls is appointed with quality furnishings, stainless appliances, flat-screen TV with cable television, wireless internet, and a gas stove for chilly nights. A 4-person spa on the back deck overlooking Cosby Creek.

Upstairs, River Falls Bungalow has a queen size bed and jacuzzi tub.

River Falls Bungalow is about 12 minutes south of Newport, and is a 25-minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. The Cosby entrance to the national park is only a 5 to 7 minute drive.

Multiple families/family members can also reserve the larger River Falls Cabin, a 2-bedroom log cabin about 150 feet from the Bungalow.

We had a wonderful time. We stayed for 3 nights celebrating my boyfriend 50th birthday. It was peaceful and perfect. Everything worked as it should and the weather was great.

I don’t mean to put aside the beauty of the cabin and location however there were some major disappointments. Right off the bat you could tell the property was not cleaned very well. There was dust everywhere, and the jacuzzi was filled with dirt. On top of the dirt and dust there is a major bee problem. We had to wear shoes in the house because each step we took we were stepping on bees. They were also in the bed, jacuzzi, and hot tub. The bathrooms were quite nice but the shower had a large crack in the base. There were also multiple cracked blinds. The hot tub smelled like stale rotten water instead of being cleaned. Once again this is a beautiful property and a beautiful location but it’s safe to say that I was disappointed with the lack of cleanliness and having insects everywhere.

We loved the location and surrounding area. The creek was so peaceful and the hot tub was super relaxing after a long day exploring. Great access to a Walmart and dollarG for food and needs and within a short drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Great cabin to stay! Clean, secluded and comfortable! The hot tub and deck overlooking the stream is awesome! The location is great if you don't care to be in the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg yet still plenty close to enjoy the whole area!

Sweet Cabin on the crick

I made this booking primarily because of the creek in the back. We were spending some timein Gatlinburg on our honeymoon and I wanted to sleep somewhere that had a chance of meeting a Tennessee native brookie. The creek was real nice and full of fish activity when we arrived, I made a few casts but we needed to settle in and eat as it was nearly dark outside and we had traveled a long way to get there. It poured that night and the creek became very high and fast very quickly. We enjoyed our time at the cabin (love the hot tub with the creek view for waking up in the morning) but the conditions were poor enough that I didn’t get to do the fishing that I had hoped. This is a great place to stay if you are visiting the nearby attractions and are looking to stay outside of the hustle.
