The scenic road that leaves Cortona and climbs up the hill towards lush forests and breathtaking views will lead you to the Casetta Belvedere. Cortona can be reached in 10 minutes by car and there you will find endless possibilities to spend your days. Small typical restaurants, quaint shops with local products, good wine and excellent cured meats. In Cortona you will also find art waiting for you. Its small, steep cobbled streets offer ancient palazzos, picturesque views, museums, churches, theatres and monasteries, an enchanting sight to be discovered.
Less than 2 km from the house, you can enjoy Tuscan cuisine in the restaurant in Portole, which also offers a small grocery shop.

At the house, a small outbuilding located next to the villa where the owners live, you will have for your exclusive use a panoramic swimming pool (size 5x10 m, depth 1.50 m - open from 01st May to 30th September) which, with its solarium, will be perfect for your lazy days, relaxing by the poolside in front of a wonderful view. For your “al fresco” dinners there is a furnished pergola in front of the house.
From Casetta Belvedere it will not be difficult either to organise day trips to the art cities of Tuscany and to nearby Umbria and Lake Trasimeno, Arezzo is about 35 km away and Perugia about 60 km. The chief town, Firenze, can be easily reached in an hour by car or train.

The interior of the house will welcome you in a warm and pleasant atmosphere, as if you were at home! You will find a comfortable, well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi access, mosquito nets on the windows and a washing machine that you can share with the owners. Also barbecue and wood-burning oven at your disposal in the large enclosed garden and a table tennis table for when you feel like challenging yourself.
The highlight of Casetta Belvedere according to our guests is definitely the extremely quiet location. The house is perfect for a holiday for couples and especially for those who wish to enjoy the silence and peace of the countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, cheered by sunsets over unforgettable views.
