The Queen Of Hope

Very nice but .....

This property was just as described and was perfect for my family of four. Very close to the beach and a few shops. Our only complaint was with cleaning. Majority of the property is clean but could use a little extra upkeep with a few things. For instance there was hair in our bed sheets and the pots and pans needed some cleaning. Otherwise I would definitely stay again. We had small issues like the alarm kept going off and the TV's took some time to figure out. The owner was really nice and reached out to help. I would definitely give this place five stars if not for those things.

Needs a few updates

The property was clean. The cushions on the porch are are torn up and need replaced or thrown away. They do not leave a good first impression. The blinds are broken and do not close properly. New blinds and curtains would be a a small upgrade that would make a big difference. The security lighting outside shines so bright into the unit - it is hard to sleep. There was one extra set of sheets leaving nothing for trundle or pull out sofa. The TV did not work and there were no operating instructions and property manager never responded. I’m sure a previous renter messed it up - we tried with no luck. Never got it to work. Thankfully we weren’t in the unit for TV. The AC doesn’t cool the master bedroom as well as it does the living room. Other than these few items - Unit was clean and stocked well.

There was some light property damage, broken doors ect. Tried to contact the owner, but not sure if the message ever got through because you have to go through their corporate email.

Could have been better.

The property was very clean but as soon as you opened the door you were hit with a very strong musty smell. There was a problem with the key and lock. The dead bolt stuck and I had to call to have maintenance address issue. I was able to get it open but maintenance did come work on lock the next day. When you turned the TV on it said “no signal” and there were no instructions on how to connect. The instructions received via check-in email regarding connecting to the internet were incomplete. Only part of the network name was given. There were plenty of towels and there is a stacked washer/dryer. It was clean and in a great location.

Disappointed

When we arrived there was dirty cleaning supplies left behind. When I got out dishes there was a plate that had hair on it. There was no way to figure out how the TV worked. I even called for help and we still had trouble. They said somebody was going to come and fix it and nobody did. In the end we figured out that we had to turn the box on and off every time in order for you to get any sort of channels. The couch is extremely uncomfortable and you can feel the bed that's underneath the cushions. The floor in the bedroom is very loud and squeaky everytime you walk on it. It's a cute place but needs upgrades. I did like that we received a new sponge in plastic wrap to clean and wash our own dishes. There are also plenty of clean towels.
