Lovely location but house and pool need significant maintenance
Location was fantastic. AC not working on arrival. Windows had not been cleaned and were covered in salt spray. Exterior deck, pier dangerous due to broken tiles and multiple sharp steps. Kitchen ceiling was water damaged and stained. Interior very dated. Furniture inside was old and some was torn and damaged. Listing should state that the house is not suitable for elderly people who have difficulty with steps. The tile rear entry which we were allowed to use has a lot of uneven sharp tile steps which stick out and are not even. Several of us tripped multiple times. The beds were comfortable but mattresses are up on high concrete platforms and it was not easy to get into the bed if you are short. Labeling light switches would be helpful. After we finally figured things out we had a lovely time. Location is the greatest but we were disappointed that the pier was broken and blocked off by bits of wood. Would not rent and pay that price again unless things were corrected. We informed the management company of our issues and they sent someone to resolve issues and left us a gift basket which was appreciated.
