Welcome to Windward Way in the Whalehead Beach Club!

Escape to our beautiful coastal cottage in Corolla! Experience OBX life as you listen to the waves, unwind and de-stress.

Our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cottage offers the perfect combination of comfort and coastal style. Whether you're looking to relax and unwind or explore all that Corolla has to offer, our property has you covered. you'll be a short 3min walk to the beach and can bring your dog! Cool off in the large heated community pool in the community, or explore the Corolla Light town center and historic areas. You'll have access to a variety of shopping, restaurants, and attractions, making it easy to enjoy all that the area has to offer. At our place, you'll have the best of both worlds - a relaxing retreat and easy access to all the action!

- Per advertised guest: 1 Beach towel, bath towel, hand towel and face towel.
- Beds will be made prior to arrival.
- We provide starter paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and coffee/tea.


We are dog lovers and accept dogs! (Dog fee is per dog. Sorry, no cats allowed)

Fantastic unit! Clean, well-stocked, and less than 10-minute walk to the beach. Great location right across from the lighthouse with easy access to restaurants and activities, including a fun outdoor bar and taco restaurant around the corner. Excellent communication with the owner about everything! Highly recommend.

Excellent Stay/ Awesome Condo,Location

This condo is exactly as advertised and more. It was clean, comfortable, very spacious and well stocked with everything you would need. The check in and check out process was very easy. We had everything we needed when we got to the condo. The owners are very responsive. The complex is beautiful and quiet. It is within walking distance to the beach and the sound. There is a park and Lighthouse directly across from the complex. The sunsets at the park are spectacular. It is convenient to restaurants, shopping and the wild horses tours. We would absolutely stay at this property again when we return to the Outer Banks.

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful, very clean and wonderfully stocked kitchen. Great location and within walking distance to the beach. Very quiet community and well lit which is nice when you need to walk your fur baby after dark. Check in was a breeze and Scott was ver responsive with any any questions I had. This was a perfect getaway and I would absolutely stay here again.

Quaint, quiet, and clean

Scott is a wonderful host and his property is perfect. It was neat and clean, well furnished, and in an excellent location. Everything you may need during your visit is walkable - we loved being able to park our car and not touch it for the rest of the trip.

Great Location in Corolla

Very convenient location with a few restaurants within easy walking distance. Easy walk to the beach and just a short drive to the vehicle entrance to drive in the beach. The condo is new, clean and in great shape. One of the nicer homes I have stayed in.

Great community

We loved our stay here and will come back! It is an easy and short walk to the pool or beach and near restaurants, shops and a playground. It could benefit from a deep clean (shower and bedding), but overall this would not stop us from booking again.

Relaxing week at the beach!

We had a great week! Clean condo stocked with all the essentials and spacious kitchen. Barely used the car while during our stay as the beach, pool, water sports, and wild horse tour is all within walking distance. A cute beach bar right on site as well. The host Scott happily responded to messages within minutes. Would recommend and plan on retuning next summer.

Clean,comfortable accommodations in best part of Corolla.Loved being across street from park and lighthouse for morning walks,and 1/2 block from beach.Also walking distance to food,libations,etc.Beer Garden always a must.Great week.

Great condo, great host, great location!

From the time we booked to after we checked out, Scott was so responsive and kind. He was quick to answer questions and checked in with us throughout. The condo was in a GREAT location ~ a 2 minute walk to beach access! There was a ramp and stairs to get to the beach, which isn't always the case with other rentals. It was a new build, had modern decor, and was clean and welcoming. Loved it! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this rental and working with Scott to all guests. 5 stars across the board! Thank you!

Perfect vaca spot

Loved the house. Its very child/baby friendly. Super close walk to the beach and there is a wonderful playground across the street. We loved how close the lighthouse and historic village is. I also loved the privacy and safety of the neighborhood for kids to ride bikes in. The pool was a short walk and it was very clean and beautiful. We cant wait to stay here again! Scott was also very quick to answer any questions. I locked my phone in the house at check out and he was extremely quick to respond to unlock the house. We had the perfect vaca here.

Awesome Vacation!

Our stay was perfect! The condo was very clean, close to the beach, and close to the park across the street! Everything was very easy to walk to, including the beach, even with an almost one year old! The condo was very baby/toddler friendly and the complex was very quiet! We will definitely stay here again if we come to the outer banks!

Beautiful OBX

The accommodation was wonderful, clean and quiet. The nearby lighthouse, park and beaches all very conveniently sorted . The only negatives were the beach cart needs to be replaced and the listing corrected to explain exactly what dates the pool would be open and heated. Other than that, it was very pleasant. Thank you.

Weekend getaway

Awesome accommodations with everything you need to get away for a few days. Scott answered all my questions promptly. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed walking around with our 2 month old and yellow lab. Quiet and clean, perfect getaway.
