We had a great stay here at the Sandy Toes. J-P and Lori communicated well and provided quick assistance. Close beach access with nearby activities for kids. Although they only listed a wagon…there is an umbrella and coolers. We left our boogie boards for the next guest. (: highly recommend booking your stay here. Thanks for hosting us!

Great VRBO!

This is a five star VRBO! The house was very new, and very clean. There are a bunch of amazing, thoughtful, touches - including dog bowls, dog towels, lots of Ziploc bags, Tupperware, the list goes on. The neighborhood pool is great and access to the beach is great. Plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. I stayed at a lot of VRBO rentals, and this one is top-notch. If you’re on the fence, just book it.

Wonderful Place

This house is like new, very clean, and comfortable. It is well equipped, and things are easy to find. Communication with the owner was very good. The location is very convenient to the 4 x 4 beach. We had a great time.

Very nice, new property close to beach and Corolla Lighthouse. If you’re not looking for a view, it’s a great spot! Owners very responsive to any questions and care about this unit. Very pet friendly and clean.

Spring break made easy

We had a wonderful stay at Sandy Toes. Check-in was easy and home was clean and well appointed. Very short walk to the beach. Neighborhood felt very safe and you’re in waking distance to several restaurants and attractions. We’ll be back!

Quiet, Clean, Close to Activities

This was the perfect place for our small family! We loved that we were able to bring our pup along! Close to the beach, Carova, and Currituck lighthouse! What a view to be able to walk outside and see the lighthouse right across the street. We loved that we could walk over to the park and playground as well! The owners really thought of everything in the kitchen you could possibly need for a home cooked meal! Beds and couch were comfy and we enjoyed the eat at counter. Our son is already asking to come back!! Thank you for sharing this piece of OBX with us!

The Location (perfect), the cottage itself (perfect), the dining options (perfectly delicious), our off season Anniversary experience (yep, you guessed it - perfect!). Bonus…. The pups also had a great time. We will be repeat renters for sure!!!

AMAZING

This property was absolutely beautiful. My family did not want to leave. absolutely amazing location. we loved that the property was dog friendly as well! the owners were amazing with communication and even made a little card to welcome our dog to the house. The dog also had blankets and towels provided by the owners. I highly recommend this place!! The food nearby also was amazing. Thanks for a great stay!

Property was very clean, quiet, well maintained, and well stocked with all the necessities plus some. Owners responsive and communicated well. Conveniently located to beach, restaurants, and 4x4 beach. Grocery store just down the street. Zero complaints, we had a wonderful stay!

Excellent family trip

We stayed here with our three school-aged kids and everyone loved it. Close to the beach, lighthouse, and park/shops. We barely drove anywhere. The kids especially enjoyed the community pool. This property is quite comfortable for people of all ages.

Great relaxing vacation home

The property is as advertised and so much more! It is in the quiet section of Outer Banks and has everything you need within a reasonable distance. The use of the beach wagon to walk to the beach was wonderful and the pool in the complex is well maintained. The owners were prompt with communication and we defintely plan to stay with them again!!!

Great start to introduce ourselves to the Outer Banks

This property was perfect for our first trip to check out the Outer Banks with some family and friends and our dogs. Everything with the property was stellar, the host was very responsive and offered great suggestions (including helping us find accommodations in the complex for two more couples who joined our group). The complex and individual unit were great and will be even better as all portions are completed (referring to fitness center in particular). Unfortunately we were a little too early for the start of the season and the weather was also somewhat inhospitable. Hope to give it another go sooner than later (would love to try October). If/when we do, your property will be the first place we will check for availability. Thanks for a great stay. Our only complaint is that we now need figure out a way to do a bathroom remodel at home to replicate that shower in the Primary OnSuite ;0)

Great property!

The home was perfect for what we needed! Short walk to the beach, beautiful community pool which didn’t have an overwhelming amount of people. The home was well stocked, clean gas grill, bicycles, a beach wagon, and some pillows/blankets. My pets had a cute little welcome sign and food bowls. The owners put a cute personalized touch on the stay and kept in touch via text. My mother left her necklace and the owner was kind enough to find it and mail it back to us! I would highly recommend this home but also the owners. We also enjoyed the shops and lighthouse all within walking distance. You won’t regret staying here!

Cute cottage

We had a great stay! Small mix up at check in that was quickly resolved. Cottage was well appointed, cute, clean and a short walk to the beach. Adorable welcome for our dog as well. Restaurants and shops within walking distance, so very convenient location. As mentioned by others, construction going on in the area, but did not impact our stay. Would definitely stay again.
