Salty Paws is located in the Villages of Ocean Hill Community. This community is famous for its wide beaches and proximity to the 4x4 beach where the wild horses roam. The community offers both oceanfront and sound front pools that are open Memorial Day through Labor Day, a beachside snack bar, tennis, pickleball, volleyball, and basketball courts, shuffleboard, state-of-the-art fitness center (with Fee)), children's playground and even a stocked pond for fishing (catch and release). If you need a break from the salt and sand you can walk or ride your bike along the Corolla Bike Path to the nearby Currituck Banks Reserve walking trails, Corolla Adventure Park, Currituck Lighthouse, Maritime Museum, Currituck Club, and many shops and restaurants.

This modern, seven (7) bedroom, Corolla home has too many updates to list! Salty Paws offers a well appointed kitchen, plenty of seating for dining and entertaining, large bedrooms, and spacious living areas for all to gather. The open concept of the mid-level is the perfect backdrop for large families creating lifelong memories. The attention to detail is hard to ignore. The outdoor space of this home is set up for entertaining with a private fenced-in yard and an oversized (19x37) pool (heated for a fee in May, September, and October to extend the swimming season) and hot tub. An adjacent cabana has its own refrigerator and covered seating to keep the refreshments close, cold, and convenient to the action. Grab a lounge chair to watch the kids swim or just bask in the sun. There is a propane grill provided for dinners by the sea!

Ground Level: (1) Master w/king and private access to shared full bath w/shower, flat screen TV. One (1) bedroom w/bunk set (no cable). game/rec Room w/flat screen HDTV, pool table, refrigerator, washer and dryer.

Mid Level: Living room w/large flat screen HDTV, kitchen w/breakfast bar and stainless appliances. Dining room w/table for 14. Half bath (1) Master w/king w/flat screen HDTV.

Upper Level: (1) Master w/king bedroom w/sitting area with bathroom w/tub and shower, large flat screen HDTV, (1) master w/king w/shower, flat screen HDTV, (1) bedroom w/pyramid bunk and twin w/flat screen HDTV (Smart TV only), (1) w/twins w/flat screen HDTV/ (Smart TV only), full hall bath w/tub and shower. Ocean Views from the top deck!

Excellent home. Very clean, nicely decorated, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, great location - close to 4X4 beach access, excellent property manager communication and attention to questions and concerns. Highly recommend this home. We will return!

Memories

Some furniture broken vacuum not functioning house not cleaned well. Probably left that way by previous renters. No real cleaning performed. Beds not all made sheets available but beds not made. No extra pillow cases for extra pillows. Pool vendor came to shock pool but did not address any of the people at the house to acknowledge.

Lots of room for a large family!

Our family of 17 plus two dogs spent a week at Salty Paws and it was wonderful. The dining table is HUGE and allowed us all to eat together. Plenty of room to accommodate our sleeping arrangements. The pool and hot tub were both clean and well maintained throughout the week. A short walk to the beach which was never too crowded. This house is ideal for a large group.

Great location! Definatwly would rent again. Only factor is cleanliness. Rates it a 4 because there was some mildew issues in downstairs bathrooms and drawers in bathrooms needs to be vacuumed out from hair

Wonderful Family Vacation

Best family vacation so far for our group of 17! The house was exactly as described. It is very clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was very big and we did not feel crowded. Very easy walk to the beach. We are looking forward to another stay!

Excellent location with a 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach. Enjoyed the horses on the beach. Big pool and spacious house.

Summer Finale

We had 15 staying and had a wonderful time. The location is very close to the beach - a very short walk. The pool and hot tub are excellent. Large pool! The cabana outside with fridge and stereo were well used. Kitchen fully stocked and bedrooms exactly as described. The basketball hoop and one of the chaise lounges were broken, but did not detract from our stay. So close to the horse/4X4 beaches. I walked almost every morning and saw plenty of horses. Would highly recommend!

Perfect place!

Upon arrival, the cleanliness exceeded our expectations. The amenities were just what we needed to make our trip special and complete. We appreciate the support of the cause for working dogs. The kitchen was well stocked with all items needed to prepare our meals.
