Just a couple of recommendation. Find a better and faster internet provider!! Also need a better dishwasher so can dry dishes، otherwise everything else was perfect :)

Everything was good. Stairs are pretty but too much to climb with bad back n knees problems. Would like the first floor to be like the second floor. Kitchen n king size bed instead the bunk bed. It would been good for me n my wife. Enjoyed the stay.

Stains, splatter and scuffs on all the walls. Wi-Fi, outdoor shower, washing machine and outlets in kitchen don’t work. Stains on the sheets. Housekeeping did message us and send new linens but no maintenance to address other issues.

The villa was wonderful and had plenty of space for the family. The communication of the exact location and amenities that were available to us, or rather unavailable, was lacking, making the trip a bit stressful as we had to resort to multiple different parties to ask questions. The check out instructions were unclear as well with no way to clarify them.

Kees is a terrible management company. We arrived & found the AC not working for the 2nd floor (main living area) & 3rd floor bedroom. The kitchen floor was not swept and we were walking all over food droppings. The kitchen counters were not washed, nor was the toaster which had crumbs all over the top. The coffee pot did not have a basket for the grounds. One bathroom had toothbrush spittle on the faucet and handles & a glob of Toothpaste on the countertop. One towel & 1 wash cloth for each person for the duration of our 4 night stay. On night one they installed 2 windows AC units on the main floor & never addressed or responded to the 3rd floor. They did not sliced towels/wash cloths until the 3rd night. They were informed that their provided soap dispensers were empty (informed at arrival). They came off the 3rd day & filled hand soap. In process they over filfed one and it over flowed all over the 1/2 bath floor. They never sent anyone to come clean it up. Each phone call they pretended to care and said they would take care of the issues, but did not follow through. Horrible cleaning crew & management.

The property was a mess. Housekeeping did not prepare the property for our arrival. With Covid they should have cleaned this property and prepared it for our arrival. I even found dirty dishes in the cabinet.

The upstairs loft bathtub was clogged. First shower was with a pool of water until maintenance showed up the next day to unclog the tub. Toilet ran and was loud the entire time. Spider webs throughout the home. Sitting on the deck was at your own risk. Tons of spiders. An exterminator should be contracted to spray all of the homes on a schedule. The hot tub didn't work. Maintenance was unable to fix it and told me a spa company was contacted to come out and fix it. They never showed up so we were not able to enjoy the hot tub.

For our first vacation as a new family, we absolutely enjoyed ourselves! The home was so spacious and everything you could think of was included! An amazing hot tub, a grill already ready with propane, four bedrooms and four bathrooms, and all the cooking ware that you could think of! A washer and dryer included as well! Such a beautiful view and a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be recommending Kees vacation homes to everyone we know!! Thank you for the amazing opportunity that we will cherish for the rest of our lives!

The place was quite, had a room to play with the foozball the hut tub and the fact that each room had its own bathroom. The house was big enough. It was lovely. We had a great time.

Potential Safety Issue during check-in

I was given the wrong property address by Hotels.com and the passcode by KEES Vacations to another property. This situation could have been a huge safety issue since I was trying to enter the wrong property during check-in late at night since I wasn't told by Hotels.com that there was a change.

On our second day of the trip the washing machine stopped working. I called several times and the KEES person took notes but never even came out to the property to look at the washer. Also, we didn’t have towels to use because they were all in the washer soaking wet since the machine was stuck on the spin cycle. KEES WAS APOLOGETIC BUT DIDNT DO A THING. I would not use KEES again.

We found a couple of dishes which were not cleaned. It had food remanants from previous renters. Also the dishwasher was not working so we had to hand wash all the dishes that we used.

We had a fantastic Vacation. One thing I will add is that we booked on Hotels.com for a 12 person house. When we got the reservation info from KEES Vacations, we were assigned a 9 person unit. We had a few back out so in the end didn't matter to us but if we showed up with 12 people, it would have been a huge issue. Also, there were no extra blankets for chilly nights, the bath towels were tiny and the kitchen garbage had no top-who wants to stare at the garbage wide open in the kitchen. Wifi was great. TV in every room. Hot tub out back. Safe one way street for kids to ride bikes. TONS of closets. The 'resort' would be a 10-15 min walk but we brought our bikes and got there in 5. The trolley comes around the main road too but we never rode it so can't comment. The ocean beach is great and has a life guard. The pool closes at 6 which I thought was very early but so be it. We went back to our hot tub. If you stay, make sure you check out the wildlife park near Carolla lighthouse for free activities for all ages. We had a crabbing class and then went crabbing. They also had fishing and other activities.

The house and area were amazing, the Pool and beach area of the resort were clean and comfortable. Plenty of room and we felt safe leaving our stuff out while swimming. So much room, beautifully designed homes, with awesome views. Our kids had choice of the 5 rooms in the house and we had so much privacy to relax at the end of our busy days. Our only issue was upon arrival the kitchen area, counters, appliances, dishes we completely covered in grease and food as if they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Additionally 2 of the beds were made however there were dirty sheets and pillow cases. We are not talking a random stray hair, these were dirty, the pillow case had pasta sauce (at least I hope it was sauce) the sheets were covered in grass and leaves as if someone was running around outside then went to sleep. On the good side it only took about 2 hours to clean it up and they had 2 sets of sheets in the house so we were able to get to sleep. DO NOT let this review deter you from booking here, this area destroys the cramped dingy houses we have stayed at on the Jersey shore for more than double the price. We will continue to stay here going forward, totally worth the 9 hour drive.

Great for families

House was very spacious and comfortable. The location is close to all of the amenities of the resort and local attractions. The condition of the house was great, but could have used a deep clean before check-in to remove many of the cobwebs and also replace broken light bulbs.

Very nice, modern, spacious townhouse property. We were two families, four adults and three kids, and having 4 bedrooms was perfect. This property had all kinds of great amenities, including a well-supplied kitchen, very comfy living room, 4 bedrooms - each with its own bathroom, a foosball table that the kids loved, two parking spaces, and a hot tub. There is a shuttle that will provide transport around the resort, and there is a sports complex nearby with indoor tennis courts, weight and cardio, swimming pool, ping-pong table, all free as part of the stay. Ok, complaints - the mattresses were very uncomfortable and, well, squeaky. Some of the soap/shampoo dispensers in the showers and bathroom sinks were empty. That's about it. We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfy place to stay in the Northern Outer Banks.

Everything was great! Each room in the house was very spacious. Everything was clean. Great location, we walked to the beach, ice cream shop, and the wild horse tour place. Two observations, the kitchen was not equipped like other homes we have rented and we were a little disappointed in that area. Also, we were never able to get the hot tub to warm up. Maybe we didn’t know how to do it, it would be a good idea to leave instructions or leave it warm. Other than that, our stay was awesome!!!
