Jacob's Place - Absolute Beachfront Off peak special!

JACOB'S PLACE is a neat and comfortable 2 bedroom holiday shack that accommodates up to 5 guests and is absolute beachfront.

Open plan kitchen with microwave, freestanding electric stove, fridge/freezer, dining, living with reverse cycle air-conditioner, combustion heater (BYO wood), TV, Ipod Dock with Bluetooth and aux cord.

Bathroom with vanity, shower and w/c.

Gas BBQ, outdoor setting to sit and enjoy the beautiful views, plenty of parking for cars and boat, short drive to boat ramp at the end of the road.

Bed configuration - bed 1 - queen, bed 2 - queen plus single.

You will need to bring all your own bedding - pillows, quilts/doonas as well as your linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels.

No smoking inside

Shed not for use

NO PETS - this includes visiting pets, any pets sighted or evidence of pets at property will result in loss of bond

Corny Point has a small general store for basic goods and takeaways, as well as the Howling Dog Tavern.
Take a drive to the Corny Point Light House and the scenic drive to some of the most beautiful beaches.
It's an easy drive from Corny Point to Marion Bay and then onto Stenhouse Bay and glorious Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park.

great stay, clean and location perfect

Just a couple of things. The DVD player seems not to be working probably, should be checked. Just a few notes on how to operate the TV, satelite would go down well, too. And just little more of a note of what is available in the area, next petrol station, other services nearby and stuff to do (surf and swim beaches for example). Other than that exeptional.

This place is so relaxing, amazing views without even stepping outside, best bed, everything was so comfortable and clean and it has everything you need. Only thing that would have made it better would have been good weather but still loved being in this place during the cold, rainy, windy days.

Cute little shack. Amazing location.

We had the best time on the Yorke peninsula. Staying here we got to watch the sunrise straight out of the ocean in front of the house. It was a short 5min drive to the lighthouse and Berry Beach to watch the sunset. Comfy and cosy home to come back to. Main bed was comfy to sleep in and single bed was great. The other queen bed has lost its strings and could do with a new bed. But the kids in it slept fine. All on rainwater which we are used to at our home. So no long showers. But that’s ok with us. All cooking facilities where catered for and tv to watch at night. Internet drops in and out but didn’t need it much as was nice to be off grid for a while. Thanks for a brilliant spot to explore the coastline

A beautiful, peaceful location.

Great if you want to get away from people. It's secluded, with a beautiful viewh and everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Bbq was pretty dirty but after my partner scrubbed it ,worked just fine.

Beach front and quiet

This was the second time we stayed at this property and we love it. The view is amazing, its quiet, low-key and relaxing and house well equipped. Short drive to Berry Bay for surfing and dolphins. Very special part of South Australia! Great if you don't want crowds and like getting back to basics.

Happy Guests

We just loved our stay. It will be up there with the most memorable. It was cozy, relaxed, quirky and well catered for with a fully stocked kitchen. I read one of the books, nearly 2, and we donated to the library as well! Plus we caught up with some really good provided dvds. The lapping of the water was a highlight and helped to undo all my knots accumulated during the school term. We highly recommend it and will be booking again.

Location, LOCATION

the location on the coast was perfect, the house was as in the pictures. If you are a slightly larger person you will find the toilet and shower a little squeazy. It was disappointing not to be informed of the scheduled power outage particularly as the water is delivered via a pump. So on our 2nd to last day we were unable to wash or even get a cup of tea. The beds were comfortable and so were the chairs including those outside. we had bad weather the last few days and apart from the whistling wind the house was nice and cosy.
