  • ¡Ven y quédate en nuestra cabaña, a solo 7 millas de la entrada al Parque Nacional Glacier! Estamos convenientemente ubicados en Coram, Montana, a 200 yardas de la caminata o esquí más cercano, en uno de los mejores senderos para bicicletas de montaña en el área (y lo suficientemente cerca de un restaurante y pub para caminar, incluso después de un largo día en el Parque) . Dos millas más adelante se encuentra el supermercado más cercano, así como el embalse Hungry Horse, un excelente lugar para pasear en bote, pescar y recolectar arándanos. La pintoresca cabaña tiene un espacioso loft con una cama tamaño queen y se accede por una empinada escalera (escalera). Para aquellos que no desean dormir en el desván, también hay una cama futón tamaño queen en la sala de estar. Hay una cocina completa disponible (estufa / horno, microondas, fregadero, lavavajillas), que tratamos de mantener abastecida con lo esencial.
    Disfruta de la puesta de sol detrás de Teakettle Mountain desde el porche cubierto al aire libre, desde el pozo de fuego, o toma la última luz mientras estás dentro a través de las muchas ventanas del oeste. La cabina tiene un excelente acceso durante todo el año, a solo 100 yardas de la autopista 2. Como tal, se pueden escuchar los sonidos de la carretera (y el ferrocarril, que está a poco más de un cuarto de milla). Sin embargo, esos sonidos están más que compensados por la proximidad al Parque Nacional Glacier. Justo al final se encuentra el Stonefly Lounge, donde puedes escuchar música en vivo la mayoría de las noches de fin de semana de verano, y al lado está el Glacier Grille, donde puedes comer algo. Al otro lado de la carretera se encuentra Glacier Highline, un parque natural de aventuras con tirolinas y otras actividades divertidas para niños. Camina otros cien metros más o menos y llegarás a la destilería de whisky de Coram, donde podrás saborear un poco de la historia de Glacier (¡asegúrate de preguntar por la historia de Josephine Doody si pruebas el alcohol ilegal!).
    ¡La atracción principal, por supuesto, es el parque! Los propietarios tienen y trabajan para el parque en varias capacidades (guardaparques, guía, biólogo, etc.) y tienen una enorme riqueza de conocimiento al respecto. La cabaña tiene necesidades básicas de senderismo, como aerosol de oso, mapas, sugerencias. Realmente hay mucho por descubrir: si tiene alguna pregunta sobre algo en particular, pregunte a los propietarios en su correspondencia. Caminamos, hacemos balsa, pescamos, montamos en bicicleta y recolectamos bayas por toda el área, y nos encantaría contarte algunos de nuestros secretos.

Quick Overnight

We came in for easy access to GNP, super close to get in! We ordered carry out pizza from Last Best Pizza and stopped by Glacier Distillery right up the road. Easy access!

Summer road trip

The cabin was very nice, the bushes in the driveway really needed to be trimmed back to make getting in and out of the driveway easier.

Trains, planes and automobiles, all hours of the night. Train whistles every hour like they were pulling up outside. If you can deal with that, it is a nice small home with everything you need, about 7 minutes from the Glacier Park West entrance.

Glacier

Great base for visiting GNP! Cabin is well-equipped and cozy. Grill & picnic table also nice to have. If you are a light sleeper, definitely turn on the air purifier or bring a fan and/or ear plugs. Lots of hiking info provided by the owners.

Great Location !

this is perfect spot to jump to GNP everyday and Whitefish If you require WI-FI it is not very reliable. If you don't need that this is perfect place.

Cozy spot, we loved it!

We had a group of 4 and we found the place very accommodating and spacious. We appreciated the book recommendations and the other informational resources. The only issue we had was the wifi was not working when we were there. Thankfully cell service was decent in the area.

cozy cabin

this small home is fine for ideal location near the park. very few amenities- no space to unpack, no microwave, loft ladder is super steep & home is hot during the day. But clean with nice shower and standard kitchen supplies. The neighborhood is noisy- railroad, loud trucks, barking dogs but owners have supplied lots of useful hiking information & that's what this vacation home is all about.

Deuce entrance difficult to see when pulling out. ‘Garden’ was a natural growth to promote insects. However bees were more than plentiful where we parked and on porch. Very close to highway so noisy Stairs to bedroom very steep, railings short and had to go backwards to go down. Short ceiling at foot of bed. VERY few cooking items to utilize (one pan and one large useless pot. Refrigerator wobbly. Couch uncomfortable.

Check in was easy enough with the lockbox. However, the key didn't actually lock the door. We contacted the host but they didn't understand that when you take the key out of the door, it actually UNLOCKS it. We took all of our valuables with us each day because the cabin didn't lock. The convection hot plate and separate oven were fine. The glasses, dishes and pots were not clean. The pasta pot still had grease/sauce on the inside of the lid. the cups had dried coffee in them. The entire cabin was clean only on the surface. The futon cover is very warn and smelly. As you come up the ladder to the loft, you can see that the floor, especially under the bed, had not been swept. The bedding smelled like body odor and made for a very uncomfortable stay. Other bedding available had hair and dust on it so we didn't want to use that either. There was only 1 bathroom hand towel for the the entire weeks stay. Vegetation around the driveway and deck was extremely overgrown. It was dangerous to pull into/out of the driveway due to blind spots on both sides. We actually didn't even see the driveway upon arrival. We were assured that the house was "well stocked" but the spices were empty, there were no paper towels or napkins available. We had to make a special trip back to the grocery store for basics.

Mountain cabin

Stayed here off VRBO for our anniversary. Listing says WiFi- it was very very very spotty. We came in when they were doing pre evacuations due to fires- owner never mentioned this to us. We were coughing and congested for most of the trip. The smoke was heavy and we had ash on our car. Thankfully we do not have medical respiratory issues. Upon arriving, the cabin was dusty (main light fixture, top of fridge, book shelf, etc...) and the sliding door had dog or kid prints on it. The bathroom has a busted and faded bottle of hand soap. I appreciated they had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and sunscreen. The weeds/ grass needs to be maintained and trimmed. The door was difficult to lock from the inside and outside every day, 7 days worth. Like it took 10 minutes on average to lock it. I now know why they had a piece of wood on the inside of the door, as a way to somewhat secure the door if you couldn't lock it once inside. This was the most irritating thing, more than the way spotty WiFi. It's nice to know my things are secure if I am away. I contacted the owner about the door lock, they said they ordered a replacement. Past reviews show this complaint too. Suggestions to add a microwave, TV with DVD's, window or portable AC, and board games. We heard the train pass by numerous times at night- got used to it. The cabin was cute otherwise and served it's purpose.

Adventure Base

Pictures do not do this cabin justice - it is immaculate and very cozy! My 6’9 husband didn’t bump his head on anything, yay! Kitchen is stocked with oils and spices! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HIKING/AREA GUIDE BOOK! It really helped us out! Treat this place as a base and expect noise. The location to GNP Entrance is fantastic (6 mins,) however because there is no AC you need to leave the windows open. This is problematic at night with the trains working at night. We opened the windows early in the day so it could cool down, and muted the sound with a fan and shut windows and slept great.

Close to the Park, near Elk Ranch

So nice to be a short drive from the Park entrance. Reminded me of some places I’ve stayed in the Dolomites or Switzerland. Heater was needed on 19 degree morns, and worked well! HOT water. HOT. Overall, tranquil and well-constructed. Trains can be a bit loud, but may subside as the port transportation issues are resolved.

Not the best experience.

My daughter slept in the loft and I slept on the futon. We got there late and wanted to go right to bed. The bedding for the futon was in two boxes underneath. It included a puff, a blanket, and two pillows but no sheets and no pillowcases. I was disgusted. The pillow had yellow stains on it. I stuffed it inside a clean shirt. All the neighbors have dogs. One in particular sounds like they have a pack of dogs. And they let them outside at all hours of the day and night where they fight and bark. Woken up from a sound sleep both nights and impossible to take a nap during the day. We ended up leaving a day early. You can’t get in touch with the landlord to complain because there is no WiFi. Also, no fire pit, as promised. There was a note tacked up saying it was because of dry conditions, however, we had a fire pit everywhere else we rented. And they don’t mow the lawn.

Cute tiny home cabin.

Great place with a great location to Kalispell airport and GNP. Only problem was door would not lock. But don’t hesitate to book.

Great location

Close to West Glacier and to Columbia Falls and Whitefish. The nearby Glacier Grill had good food, and the Stonefly had cold drinks after long hikes.

Awesome basecamp for Glacier

Location in relation to the park helped us get a good head start at the beginning of each day. Communication with Nate was exceptional. If not for him informing us, early on, of the the park’s ticketed entry process, we may have never known. Awesome, cozy, basecamp close to the park!!

Get Away for Two

Wife and I enjoyed the location being close to Glacier Park entrance and Great Northern rafting. Vert good star viewing at night. Kitchen well equipped.

Great place with great location!

All was terrific! Property was private and secluded with great outdoor space and terrific access to all places in the GNP region. Amenities at the cabin were perfect especially the grill, picnic table and firepit. Great bathroom with lots of hot water and strong shower. Walked to restaurants. Just lovely.

Cabin outside Glacier Nat'l Park

Good little cabin fairly close to Glacier. We were concerned that the sleeping loft might cause us problems as there wasn't much of a railing but it turned out okay. Host was accessible when I had a question.

Cute cabin but outside needed some care.

The outside was very grown up and made us a tad concerned about potential for snakes. Outside trash cans were so full from before we arrived we could not put the lid on the cans once we added the one bag we had from out stay. Other than that, the cabin was great for what we needed. Really hope that more care will be taken in the future to keep the grass and weeds under control.
