The location on the lake was spectacular and it was a joy to relax on the deck as the cool breeze blew off of the lake. "Simple living with a "front row covered porch seat" to view the lake. Spent the first hour of our mini vacation on the porch watching the rain fall and listening to thunder. Dee was attentive, always answered my questions in a timely manner. We rented a boat so the dock came in very handy, the last day we just stayed on the lower dock and the kids had a blast jumping off the dock, as we took advantage of the great furniture they had on the lower dock. "This was a great house. The lake access was about a mile down the road and the only bummer about staying here. It looks close, but it’s all private property across the street. "

"We had the most wonderful vacation in Lake Almanor Country Club. There is nothing better than being at the lake. Connie and Jerry were wonderful to communicate with. Their home was the best place we have stayed at on the lake. We watched a bald eagle, deer and the nightly bat show all from the amazing deck. We didn’t want to leave. Truly a special place. "

"We really enjoyed the spacious house, especially the several outdoor decks. However, we didn't realize that the house was located so close to the burned down area which looks so devastated.We found some very sweet areas to go swimming but definitely needed to drive to reach them."

"This cabin is full of lovely woodsy themed decor with antiques and also modern amenities. My four grandchildren loved the game room, and especially competing at the foosball table. At the rear of the cabin there is a firepit, and a peek of the lake. We had coffee on the deck in the morning and a glass of wine there in the evening. It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Lanita, the owner, was very helpful and gracious with our questions and providing information. When we visit the lake again...

"The property was great. Super clean, simple but super functional unit, and low chaos as it was on the quiet outside corner of Big Cove. The launch ramp and dock were so user friendly. Only ask: It would be great it the sofa pulled out into a twin bed. I give it a solid A- and look forward to getting a larger group of fishermen and a few cabins for the next trip. "We were there with other family who stayed in Westwood. Out of all of our VRBO's our owner was the easiest and nicest out of all. The kids loved playing at the park and I had family coming and going through the gate, it was super easy and very welcoming. The skate boards, kayaks and paddle board was the icing on the cake. "This tiny home was great for our trip to Lassen. New construction and lots of soft bedding and good pillows. Games in the kids room. Everything that you need for a getaway. "
